I just don't understand people saying this. Our most creative forward and left footed... playing at RWB... Why?
Because it’s a very attacking position. It’s basically the same role an old school right midfielder would have in a 442. It’s just a way of getting more of our best players on the pitch, because our wingbacks are shit and I think Deki could do a very good job there and still contribute a lot going forward

It CAN be an attacking position but can also be defensive if under the cosh. Plus you want an inverted RWB? Surely it's their job to keep width to stretch play.

Not to mention the waste of talent that would be.

Anyway Zaniolo... I'm not sure but give Conte one last hurrah and see I suppose

This must mean this is close. PSG always seems to be reportedly making a “late swoop” for our targets lol

At what point did anyone say play him there every game? The conversation I replied to was about Kulu being an option there against lower ranked teams to fit Zaniolo in at RW to have both on the pitch in Conte’s formation. It’s just a discussion, it’s not something I’d ideally like to see us have to do either, but as it stands our wingbacks fucking suck and either produce next to nothing going forward or are suspect defensively, at least playing Kulu there you know you’d get elite output going forward and at least competent tracking back as we’ve seen him do in multiple games when we are under pressure, he’s very decent defender for an attacking player. Like I say, just a discussion about squad options if we sign Zaniolo under the current circumstance of having very poor wingbacks

We have a good midfield, in which Kulu could play behind the front 2, his favoured position. Our attack is potentially great. Our 3 central defenders, with the exception of Romero are simply not up to it. You won't succeed with one decent CB and a poor keeper. Davies can be useful in the squad because of his flexibility, likewise Emerson. Udogie, Sess and Perisic are OK on the left.

Son does not track back and offers little going forward, at the moment. Levy will move mountains to keep Kane, Son could be sacrificed.

Doesn't matter a waste is a waste. Kane defends the near post at corners, maybe he could fill in at CB for a while so we can get Richarlison on the pitch too?
I'm being pedantic but I want our best forwards as close to the opposition goal as possible.

If this guy is so great why are Roma looking to sell him?

And don't say it's his contract because he has the same time left as Harry Kane.

Could've said the same of Bentancur and Kulusevski this time last year. Different players work/don't work under different managers and clubs, just because they want him sold doesn't mean he isn't any good.

If Brighton want him then we should definitely buy him, they seem to strike gold more than any other club in the transfer market.

I was watching Mitoma yesterday, he is gonna be some player, terrifying pace with end product. Not just his goal, but the way he set up Solly March with great control and coolness in the box

Ferguson looks good up top as well - I hope Levy is talking to Brighton about how they keep finding these lads.
