Agree with first part, although I see it as society and not as much club thing. if I can change something FKP would do more activism, and it would also have a sponsor.

about Lamine - believe what you want. Lamine learned Serbian, bought an apartment here (and he plays in Turkey now), played 130+ games. You want to spin it other way around go with it.

Putting "Jews" alongside pussies turned it into a slur IMO. There's no way someone could look at that sign and think they were being something other than derogatory. I take offense from that, not because I'm Jewish (I'm not), but because it was specifically intended to personally attack a significant section of our support, and consequently our entire support. Personally I don't believe any substantial action will be taken against them - at least nothing that will stop them from doing it in the future.

Said it before and I've said it again. The EL is far too inclusive. Call me radical but I think that the base of inclusion should be reduced to keep out teams who have no problem allowing racist messages from this competition. At least until they learn how to make their fans behave like civilized human beings and not racist airheads.

Hi guys,

I am yet another Serb registering to write a reply because a lot of stuff has been either misinterpreted or blown out of proportion. And some is downright offensive. Unlike some of my compatriots here, I actually live in London, and I am not a Partizan supporter. And I do have a 25+ of following Serbian football, and the mindset is quite well known to me.

In short - yes, the banner was meant to be offensive, although predominantly the pussies part. The Jews part was, in their minds, a fitting addition to complete the OFAH reference (and I might add that none of you can imagine the level of adoration that show, in addition to Blackadder, gets in Serbia). It is offensive in the sense that having only Jews as supporters would be bad in itself, and this is the reason Partizan should get fined.

The primary problem of Serbian fans, not only hooligans, is that they perceive anything as legitimate if it can disturb the opposing player. Monkey chants, boos, even object throwing. It is retarded, and should be stamped out, but it will take years. Now, I will not bother you why Partizan and other teams do not do more - there is a highly complex link between FCs, their fans, football managers and, well, mafia.

FC Partizan fans, those hardcore ones, are a mixture of genuine supporters, right-wingers, criminals and fascinated youths. (it is similar in many other teams). They are hardly inherently racist, more like hard-core bigoted. Sometimes it shows of as racism, and sometimes as nationalism, or homophobia. At the same time, they comprise extremely vocal, but unbelievably small minority of people following football in Serbia, not to mention of the overall population.

So, in a nutshell - banner was meant to offend, Partizan should be appropriately fined, it was not taken down because FC is intertwined with hooligan leaders to a large extent, and vast majority of Serbian population has nothing to do with this. Mentioning concentration camps, hookers, builders, gyppos and similar crap is highly inappropriate and bigoted on its own, and is essentially on the same level of intellect as of those making the banner.

Thank you and I honestly wish you all the best as a club with proud history and pretty bright future, I must say.

I'm not saying he didn't enjoy the place or integrate mate, I'm just posting proof that he did get abused. To be fair what I posted is the only incidence of racism I could find with the three players you mentioned so far.
I think it's good also that you are prepared to come on to a rival football site and put your point of view.

I'm not sure I'm happy with the trend in this thread of visiting supporters posting.

Bloody Serbs...coming over here...taking our posts.

It's no worse than in this country. Not a sight worse than West Ham and Chelsea fans with their gas chamber noises, chants of "we hate Yids", or indeed our lot throwing coins at players. We still have racism in crowds, in the streets, in homes up and down the country.

It's ignorance and thug mentality, and it exists everywhere. As has been pointed out here already, don't let the idiot minority ruin it for everyone else.

Dear FIFA,

We think we may have been offended by a banner during the recent game against FK Partizan, although we're not entirely sure why. We will probably have a consensus in about 20 pages or so.

Could you please help save time by contacting the makers of the aforementioned banner and asking if it was intended to insult us and to what degree? If it was, could you take appropriate action? We suggest a total ban from European football for five years if they really meant to hurt our feelings, or if they were just teasing a little then a banners embargo until January will suffice.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Sourpuss,

Thank you for your email. Some people agree, some don't. All the ones who think it was OK are pwopa facking geezers and the rest are leftie, Green Party voting pussies. Not the scratchy purring type, the axe woundy, sexy type. I am glad you took time to reply and we love you for it.
Kind regards,

I love pussy (y)

You are what you eat!

There's nothing a Partizan Belgrade fan can say that will hurt my feelings unless he calls Roberto Soldado a flop. HE IS NOT! HE JUST NEEDS TIME TO ACCLIMATE YOU JERKS! Really, though, those knuckleheads embarrassed their club and country and I just feel sorry for them. As for the Yid Army...onwards and upwards.

Wow it's great to see so many Eastern European spurs supporters. Love it.

1 sign does not reflect on a country otherwise we would all be judged by Leeds or West Ham fans.
