What's going on? We are told that the injuries are minor or that a player is ill, then we don't hear or see them for months. Are they sitting out drug bans or something? Its just so weird. I am sure that Lamela was supposed to be ill initially and that was ages ago. Toby was supposed to be just a knock and its been ages too.

Physioroom won't know the extent of each individual injury, they will hear it's a sprained ankle and from that work out how long they think the player will be out for so it's just a rough guess.

I believe it is now a policy not to rush players back, I think Pochottino along with his medical team are of the opinion that its better to miss them one more game than bring them back too soon and risk further injury.
