I'm wanting to buy one of this seasons shirts soon as I really like all of them, will probably go with the away or 3rd as I don't like wearing white and we seem to wear the 3rd a lot more than the away for some reason so am leaning to that. Anyway, I actually prefer the tighter fitting tops, closer to what Bale wears.

Does Bale just wear a small size or is it a different fit, because I swear at the start of the season I remember reading that the 'player' version of a shirt will be more expensive and the replica versions are standard (still stupidly expensive mind) price but I looked on the site and they only have one style of each kit. Anyone know if they are different tops or if the small size ones fits close to that anyway?

its a different fit. They have sold out of the players kits, but not sure if it was only the home kit they had it for

Cheers, that clears that up then. That's a shame though, might be a lesson learnt and may have to be quick in purchasing one next season if they do player versions for the change strips.

Got to say, I hate our 3rd kit. Looks like a battenburg gone wrong. Like the blue away kit though, don't wear it enough IMO. A mate of mine says the reason we are wearing the 3rd kit more is coz its not selling as well. Whether there is any truth to that I don't know.

It has really grown on me, wasn't sure at first but I love it now. Funnily enough though I prefer the 3rd kit in it's tighter version, the quality just looks better, I don't like it so much loose so and as a result I prefer the standard away kit. I actually really like the back of it too, strangely. I did wonder that.... Because we've been using it as an away kit, not a 3rd.

Those stretchy kits look good on bale (and on you by the sounds of it you lucky devil) but when your extra curricular activities consist of eating curry and drink, like mine does, the stretchy kits are not quite as fetching. I got my white 1 though at the start of the season. Love the collar.

The third kid is disgusting - its absolutely shocking looking IMO.

Nothing to do with sales by the way. Our kits are up the left this year because of the shorts. We can't were our home kit at places like Arsenal and City - like we've normally done- because they play in white shorts, where as in the past its normally navy blue shorts for us. We can't use the second kit because it has white shorts. That's why we are in that turgid third kit all the time.

We've used our second kit at places like Newcastle and Fulham because they sport black shorts.

:D The home kit is very nice, my favourite for years which is strange because I generally prefer navy shorts.

Our second kit's official shorts are navy blue though, we only wore white shorts (which were our home shorts) at Newcastle because they wear dark shorts. If we're wearing a change strip, I don't understand why we wore the 3rd over the 2nd away to Arsenal, and the same for away to Leeds and Man City, although I can understand the City case more as they wear a shade of blue but Everton play in their all blue strip there just fine, that's why it seems as if it's the away kit this season and not the 3rd.

Yeah, away kit has blue shorts, we wore them with the home kit at Old Trafford.

I think we're wearing the 3rd kit as it has so far, been quite fortunate for us.

Have we wore the complete second kit once this season yet? Probably why I'm confused....

What did we wear at Fulham? Away kit with white shorts?

Has it fuck...we got caned at the Emirates and were very unlucky to lose a last minute goal at City :)

We wore the whole navy blue away to Fulham, I'm confused as to why we didn't wear our white shorts again then, kind of strange really. Not that it's a massive deal on the whole, but even though there's probably nothing ruling against it, it is strange how it's almost as if we're reluctant to wear the away strip on occasions that require it as it should obviously come before the 3rd kit in terms of selection.

Yeah it is a bit of confusing. I mean Newcastle wear black shorts as well yet we wore white ones up there...

fuck it :)

I don't get why we wore 3rd kit at the scum tho, surely just put the blue shorts with our home kit, I think that was an example of trying to bolster sales (if we won, all the kids would want that shirt, right?)

Good point. But if that's the case why didn't we just wear the third kit at OT? Can't remember if they wear white or black socks....
