Parallels with Man U 1991-2 season

Just seen this being re-tweeted a few places:

- United collapsed and took only 4 points from the last 5 games in the 1991-92 title race, Poch took 5 from 5.
- Both lost just 6 league games.
- Both lost out to hard working sides who had just been promoted a season ago.
- Both Leeds and Leicester won the League watching on TV as their rivals messed up.
- TV camera's watching the entire Leeds team celebrate in Lee Chapman's house.
- Ferguson went on to finally break his duck the next season and win 7 of the next 9 titles.

I like this. I liked the parallels with the 1961 season to this season too. But which is better? There's only one way to find out...

Doubt I could find it now but a journo in BBC Radio said exactly the same thing a week or so ago.

None, that Utd team had reached 4 cup finals in the previous 2 years, winning 3 of them, so already had a winning mentality being instilled in them. We are serial legends who capitulate EVERYTIME at the first sign of pressure when it really matters. Our record in cups has got to be one of the most shameful for the clubs who consider themselves big the last 25 years!!!
