Mackenzie to Derby. I remember someone calling that. Who was it?
What did he say ? Dilly dong?
Could be. But however Levy has done this , it definitely looks from appearance and Press reports , that Levy has estranged a valuable member of staff to the extent that he walked out . Difficult to present Levy as perfect in this situation , but never underestimate the BSODL....
So you don't think Levy was involved in the first set of negotiations and subsequent agreement? Mitchell has nothing at all to do with negotiations or finances.

I don't think the prices agreed had anything to do with Mitchell, Levy is not going to give away the financial negotiation side to Mitchell or anyone else.
We don't know that, he was to replace Franco baldini we were originally told so that involves begotiating. If the reports are tight that he has upset agents then he certainly has been involved in negotiations.
What is clear is the the first and second negotiations are not from the same person. They are too vastly different.
McDermott got given most of Baldini's portfolio when he got promoted in February. Poch has then taken more of it since he was promoted from coach to manager. Maybe those two were just squeezing out Mitchell?
Doubt Poch was. Baldini used to do negotiations, he negotiated for Soldado for instance ad once initial negotiations were done and a rough deal sorted it got handed over to Levy.
The N'Koudou deal looks like this has happened and Levy has said you must be joking effectively.Who did the initial negotiation, Mitchell? Mackenzie?
i don't see that side taken over by mcDermott and Pochettino but agree that it takes some of the role away. It is to the future we now look and have to decide how we replace the two, is it with one or two people? Do we have a data analyst and a Director of Football? Do we just have two heads of departments?
Mitchell and Mackenzie are data moles. They don't ever see daylight
We're doing far less transfer now than during the turmoil years, so perhaps Levy is doing them all personally.

#thfc Pochettino says he is "very disappointed" with Paul Mitchell's decision to leave. Full quotes to come shortly.
Not sure what to make of those quotes. Surely if he's already taken another job there would be no point in playing out the transfer window and the "seeing what happens" as Poch has alluded to?
You have it mixed up, if a guy in the recruitment department is taking a job elsewhere, the club would make sure his future employment does not happen until the transfer window closes. Otherwise he might go to his new club with a list of our choice transfer targets and that new club would have a chance to usurp us - no club would willingly risk that.
We'll if Poch is disappointed then so am I. Like a few have said, in the grand scheme of things this isn't a major setback but the reasons why he is leaving could be worrying which ever way people try and paint it. It's rather odd. The timing of it all but yet he's not leaving just yet. You cant help but worry.
