If we get a good fee (12-15m), yes...probably replace him with a decent 3rd English GK and use the cash to help get Skriniar.

Liverpool panic buy Gazzaniga tomorrow thereby giving us the extra funds to sign Škriniar and complete our quadruple winning squad. It’s all coming together.

We can use the EFL window to get a 3rd keeper. Sell him absolutely if a decent bid comes in.

But If Mourinho isnt seeing him as no2, why stop it, if we get a decent offer ?
Oh I agree in a treating a person like an asset context. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy his full COYS.

Pool are our rivals? Not IMO, they are a world class team and a level above us. One result doesn't change that.

Anybody at the top end of the table is our rival, it doesn't matter if that's not how you see it - it's 100% how the club and Jose see it.

Saying that, selling Gazzaniga for anything over £8m and we've strengthened ourselves more than them.

He will be on their bench in 8 weeks once Allison is fit again - at the moment, he isn't even getting on our bench.

If they offer anything around £8m we should snap their hands off.

Need to be ruthless.

They offer me a pack of pork scratchings and a dodgy DVD copy of the karate kid I’d let him go. Pointless use of a non-homegrown space in the squad

You don't strengthen rivals and if Liverpool can't get their shit together they will fall back into the pack and be rivals.

I dont get how we are strengthening Liverpool ?

Jose currently isnt seeing him as no2 let alone no1. May be this is him, giving him cold shoulders to do more. But if we move him to liverpool and that gives us that extra 10m to get Skriniar a CB that goes into XI...thats Liverpool funding us to strengthening our XI not the other way round

Harsh. Agree its not ideal for a non-HG spot when you need some but its not pointless. If Hugo is injured for a long time we rely on Joe Hart completely as we have no clue if Whiteman can cut it.
So I would like to have an HG replacement if Gazza is about to leave, but are there any more solid options on the market?

If Lloris is out long term we have Hart. If we were to lose him we would have the option of an emergency loan that would likely be better than Gazzinga

Just give Whiteman the position of 3rd choice - based on what I've seen of him from U23's, he's certainly no worse than Vorm was last season in the Norwich game

I wouldn't sell but if I was in Levy's position I imagine he'd try for at least double that, if they really want him they need to be ripped a new one.
