According to the Amazon intro (only on ep2) Gazzaniga drives a vintage Mustang, just when you thought he couldn't get everyone any wetter...

Its funny (I'm a car person, myself) as I was seeing all the boring-as-fuck 911s and Rangeys they had and though "I'd probably get myself an old 964 turbo or something old but appreciable in status" and then in the next scene I saw the late 60's Mustang and thought "that's a man who knows", but didn't realise it was PG

If he leaves, could we see a guy like Jack Butland come in and replace him (if Hart is seen as a third option)?

Butland stock has fallen and the rumours were that Stoke quoted around £7,5M in beginning of the window if I’m not mistaken.

HG, vocal, and carried great potential a few years ago. I’d rather we bring someone in rather than let Austin or Whiteman sit.

Well, whatever any of us think, Jose seems to be going with Hart as the number 2. In my opinion he probably feels if he can push Gazza out and get a few quid in the kitty then it’s probably better for the overall development of the squad.

Doesn’t seem to be any links at all at the moment though? If he doesn’t play for a year his value Is gonna plummet anyway so now is the time to sell.

This is just a question of mathematics. If we are looking to bring in Skriniar and a non-HG striker then we have to free up a couple of non-HG slots. Assuming that Aurier is staying aqnd Foyth's non-HG place in the squad has already been taken by Reguilon, then Gazzaniga and Gedes would be the next most likely candidates for the chop.

Liverpool panic buy Gazzaniga tomorrow thereby giving us the extra funds to sign Škriniar and complete our quadruple winning squad. It’s all coming together.

Mirror are linking him with pool this morning. No way pool will buy him but they could look for a loan which could suit all parties if no one has actually come in to buy him. Needs game time and looks like Hart is Josés no.2

If Allison is out for any length of time, it could hurt spurs giving Liverpool a more competent keeper than Adrian

It doesn't suit us at all, you never strengthen a rival.

GAZZANIGA INTEREST

First up is the news that Liverpool are chasing goalkeeper reinforcements today after Alisson Becker’s injury which could see him ruled out for more than six weeks, and The Independent understands that Liverpool have made contact with Tottenham over a possible deal for Paulo Gazzaniga.

Gazzaniga impressed last season in the Spurs goal standing in for injured captain Hugo Lloris, but has found himself on the fringes this season with Lloris’s return and the signing of Joe Hart.

After Adrian’s shocker last night, where he conceded seven goals at Aston Villa, a goalkeeper is thought to be high on Jurgen Klopp’s emergency shopping list today in order to get their title defence back on track.
