I really can’t see him even wanting to play for us. Not sure even Poch could persuade him. So, I hope this is all paper talk and we aren’t wasting valuable time chasing shadows.

Would be a great replacement for eriksen.

A swap deal would be good as eriksen would get his big move and we get someone who has proven he can play in the big epl.

He left Liverpool because he wanted to win CL (amongst play with Messi, etc) but then had to watch Liverpool win CL without him. I imagine if he goes anywhere it'll be back to Liverpool eventually.

Oh I just don't like him or the sound of his voice - he's on the Totally Football Show podcast (assuming it's his official account). He's a Gooner and a PSG supporter.
He was adamant that we’d never do what was needed to sign Ndombele.

They won't. And they will be still worse than us.

So tired of this RAWKish attitude. Arsenal finished a point behind us and won several trophies the last few years. They keep strenghtening in an attempt to get into the CL.

Sure we might finish ahead of them, but I won't be surprised if they sneak ahead of us the way we operate.

I've wrote off many people at work who support arsenal and a 2nd team. I can accept that people are born with Arsenal forced upon them but I'll never accept the 2nd team especially a European giant.

People can laugh at the loans but the reality is if they got top4 because of it and didn't have to risk shelling out 60-80 million on players to do so then they've absolutely smashed it because it puts them back at the top table with the added bonus of additional funds for qualifying, I don't see how people can say that's not a smart decision.

Yep. They’ve realised they may not have the funds to rebuild the way they want to, so have looked for clever ways to still attain quality and improve their team. Even if it means taking a more short term view.

Which is something we’ve never explored because supposedly it’s beneath us.

Instead we seem to be engaging in a transfer window special of supermarket sweep.

They sold off half their defenders with no replacements. They haven't strengthened.

Exactly this. We are taking a big risk.

The chances of others finishing ahead of us, and as a consequence, us falling out of the CL, is increasing all the time. At some point, it becomes too large a risk, and with the current squad we may already be there.

Things are turning against us and it's not great

Seriously what the hell is going on haha! So much bullsh*t flying around!

Social media has definitely ended much of the sanity within transfers. Oh for the simpler days of TV Sports channels & our own ITKs.

Good player but a bit overrated and a lot overpriced imo. Can't help but feel there must be much better value out there. Especially considering his age.
