Poch is the key. If Poch lands a big job, he'll take Eriksen on a free.
Do you think Poch will want him after he's just been instrumental in him losing his job?
Personally I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Maybe a baseball bat lol.
Edit @stevenurse shit you beat me to it lol.

Why would he? He's contributed in part to him losing his job in the first place. Great player but why would you take someone you know would happily lay down tools when he can't be bothered?

Well he kept picking him for Spurs irrespective of form. Poch would snap Eriksen up in a heartbeat.

Makes you wonder if theres an appearance catch in his contract or something. It made no sense Poch keep picking him and now JM has done the same. From the outside it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. He's stinking the place out.

Maybe by playing him, Poch was hoping he would put in performances to get his dream move and would've squeezed a few extra quid out of any buyer for his replacement when he is sold in January. Problem every peformance he has put in has done the opposite :(

I think we need to stop looking behind and look forward. If we get offered the CE of 2 seasons ago we would pay £80m+ for him. No time spent with the guy, a short cameo when we looked zoned out of the game and the negative posts start. I get it, I too wanted him gone but why not wait and see if José can get in his head and maybe, just maybe we might get this £80m+ player for nothing (obviously I understand it would cost some to get him in a new contract)
José might just decide there’s no coming back for him and move on but let’s give him (José) that opportunity. We might be pleasantly surprised

He’ll probably be worth more if we stop playing him at this point. Just got to hope Juve haven’t watched him play and chuck us £7m.

This is guessing but not entirely made up. Pochettino played him because he was still loyal to and supportive of Pochettino. Eriksen's issue wasn't with Pochettino, he wanted to leave the club even before things turned sour. Mourinho plays him because Eriksen has yet to clarify his intentions and so Mourinho is not turning his back on Eriksen quite yet, giving him some time to think. One of Mourinho's first tasks is to remotivate as many players as possible of those who were on their way out, and even get some of them to commit to a new contract.

I'm sure Levy's dream would be to get him to commit to a new contract then sell him for a fee, but i just can't see anyway that is going to happen, I don't see any team paying over £20m for him and that's with a contract, and with a signing on fee and wages it probably makes that option pointless.

I would just take a hit and let him go for free in January, unless Jose is truly a miracle worker and can get a performance out of him.

I would pay up the remainder of his contract, which would be £1.7m, and be rid of him. If he stays until May / June what are we going to get from him, if past months performances are an indication..

I’d take literally any decent offer. Someone above talks about Juve chucking us £7m in January. I wouldn’t dismiss it and certainly attempt to negotiate at least.

Take the first decent offer, get him away from the club and get his wages off the payroll.

"Mourinho reveals he's had a further conversation with Eriksen about his future. "I'm not going to tell you what we said. Just me and him – and Amazon." Funny guy

How weird must it be having a conversation about your future career in front of a team of Amazon filmmakers.

I dunno if Real are still interested, but there are lots of good players in their squad not getting a game at the moment. I’d take some sort of swap.

He's leaving, read the fully report from Ally Gold and the last paragraph says whether he stays or leaves he is one of us until the last day.

Here's what Jose told our Spurs reporter Alasdair Gold about Christian Eriksen
“Yeah, I’ve spoken with him. Obviously I’m not going to tell you our conversation, only me and him we know what we spoke about and Amazon because I’m always connected with the cables. They listen to everything I say and do.

“The important thing is that he’s committed with us so let’s not talk about his future, let’s not talk about what is going to happen. Is he leaving? Is he staying? Let’s talk about his commitment for the club and for his colleagues and for the project and he’s with us.

“My decisions about starting him or not starting, selecting or not select, will be based on a perspective of a future. I cannot hide that. It will also be based on a perspective of a future. We have a present and in football we have to focus on the present, in this case the game tomorrow, but it’s a club where you have to think about the future.

“These important decisions obviously they have an influence on my decisions as a head coach, but the important thing is that Christian staying or leaving, he’s that type of guy who easily I could understand. Proper guy, loves the club, loves his colleagues, amazing colleague in the dressing room. So it doesn’t matter what, he’s one of us until the last day.”

As far as I'm concerned it sounds like he's nailed on to leave in Jan based on that convo.
