This summer is so funny. Signed a player 5 days ago. Agreed a deal for CL supposedly 6 days ago, with him rumoured to be in the country as we speak. The definition of quiet has certainly shifted this time round.

This is true. ??

Still feels like this is on the just in case list because we're trying to get something else over the line. It's soooo quiet... ?
Nah I'd say this is there just announcement pending. Might even see him on a treadmill in the backgound ala Davies

75m spent, 30m coming in, still potentially got 100m + on top of any sales but the signing of Maddison would cost a club record for sure if true.

Lenglet very smart business
Trix eluded to one more home grown player being spence

so don't look like Maddison on the agenda

Hopefully both.. the more HG we have the better equipped we will be in future transfer windows as far as I see it.

Also this guy has 10k followers and mentioned the following about ones we are eyeing a few weeks back:

I'm surprised there is not much noise around Kamada. Very talented player and supposedly available for a bargain price.

Never judge is it's a good source by the number of followers.

Clément Lenglet, centre of FC Barcelona, is very close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham to play the 2022-23 season on loan with the Spurs. In the next few hours the medical review will pass and the operation, except for last-minute turns, will be closed paying Tottenham in 85% of the footballer's record, assuming the rest (15%) the Barcelona team. Likewise, the agreement will provide for a purchase option that would be over 10 million euros.

If he gets back to his Sevilla levels, giving him away for 10 million euros seems stupidly cheap. I'm waiting for when this business catches up with Barca

If we are paying 85% of Lenglet’s reported 70K PW wage and a possible purchase option at around 10m, this has the opportunity to be an absolute steal of a signing (if his performances match his ability). Fair play.

And if it doesn’t that monthly outlay isn’t huge for a bit part player these days. Then we ship him back to Barca

Win-Win Mr Paratici

Really hope Clement can overcome his form issues and get back to what he was.

Also, not gonna lie , this deal still has me seriously intrigued as to what route we're going down with our signings to come.
