Being able to hold the ball up and able to pick the right passes and making correct decisions inside the box....seems basics but way he is doing it puts Lucas tenure in RW into perspective.
Kulusevski always seems to be aware what/who is around him. His in game intelligence surpasses most of Lucas skill .

He is the perfect foil for Kane & Son going forward - we got to build the team around likes of him

He looks powerful and accurate with his shots, part of what makes Son and Kane so good. Encouraging.
Yeh, Kulusevski is a great ball striker. He reminds me of a baby KDB, not the quickest off the mark but a strong carrier, good technically, deft touch and powerful shot. Maybe without the two-footedness. Today was by far his best performance for us and has convinced me he's gonna be great. Everything he did felt assured, barely gave the ball away. He demonstrated how good he is receiving the ball on the half turn, even without blistering acceleration his first touch often allows him to create seperation from the defender. Lucas's chaos is useful sometimes but Kulusevski retains the ball more often when he comes short to receive from Romero. He's only 21 too, pretty exciting.

From what little I have seen so far, reports of him being on the slower side appear wide of the mark. Does he possess lightening pace? No. Is he running in treacle? No. He looks average paced for the league, which isn’t a criticism. I’d rather someone as fast as him, who is intelligent with their movement, defensively responsible, tenacious, coachable and a really solid technician. More so than Lucas at the moment.

Fair play, the kid is proving me and a whole lot of other people wrong.

Hope he continues this great start.

He has a footballing brain and intuitively understands movement patterns, and is not afraid of playing aggressive, risky passes. This is basically the antithesis of every attacking signing we've made since Soldado (minus Bale).

He will be tested more but you can't argue with the output so far. Seems to be a really humble kid as well which I love to see, there's no diva in him.

Always looks like he has time on the ball and reads the game well

needs to develop his right foot but at only 21 he’s got bags of potential still

What a great addition

Never get this as there’s loads of right footed players who can’t use their left foot for shit, but people don’t say need to develop their left foot lol.

Right footed elitist bastards! ??
