The scouting of him, Romero & Bentancur has been extraordinary. Personally I'm a fan of Emerson (but can comprehend if we sell him) and I believe Gil can make it here if he bulks up in the summer and can fit the tactics. Perhaps Sarr becomes a big hit during pre-season and adds to the competition.

Honestly, so glad it's working out for him. As a Juve fan I was not sad to see him leave as he never really looked like making it, but always hoped he could turn it around and show the potential that he displayed prior to joing Juve. So glad it's working out for him, he's doing brilliantly.

I knew Bentancur would be great for us as he was good at Juve and had skills we were missing, but didn't expect Kulu to be as good as he has been.

He's only 22 and doesn't rely on pace which means he's got a long career ahead of him if he keeps himself fit and works hard. Definitely need to keep him.

Juve fans, you are cretins. Kulu you are a lord.

No, we're not. As I said in my post above he was genuinely poor for us and i certainly didn't think it was worth keeping him at Juve. He had chances and didn't do enough. Not every player works well at every club. He's just managed to gel with the team and Conte, and provide us something extra. This is where he belongs now.

I never watched him for Juve but going by the fact that he made 20 appearances this season in Serie A and only 5 of those were starts, I don’t think that’s a proper chance.
Likewise, last season out of 37, he started only 19.

I get it, Juve require players to make an immediate impact but he was only 20-21 when he played for you. They’ve missed a real player here.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. It's hard for him to make an impact when you don't get loads of games or starts, but he just didn't look right. He got the odd goal and assist but never looked comfortable and just failed to impress a lot of the time. Juve certainly have missed out but I think sometimes it's a case of not all players working out for a club and trying to find what works for both the club and player. He definitely fits in here and I don't think he'd do as well if he went back to Juve. I'm sure he'll stay.

Ok perhaps that’s a bit strong but they made me look a fool in trusting their opinion on both Bentancur and Kulusevski.

My eldest son was and is his biggest fan and even when he started out well with us, my lad said he’s absolute quality and I agreed but he went further and said he was the real deal.
I doubted that, but how wrong was I.

This lad can be anything he wants to be. He’s astoundingly good.

He knows when to pick the right pass, or when to shoot. He doesnt just dribble his way into trouble. What an intelligent player we have here

Such quality in all aspects of his game. Some players it's physical attributes (pace, balance, strength) that make them great. With others, like DK, it's intelligence. Not that he lacks those physical qualities but it's the way he reads the game, reads his marker and makes decisions that sets him apart. What a player we have on the right. Hopefully for years to come.

5 goals and 8 assists in 14 starts coming in after coming in January is extraordinary.

Despite his fine efforts in getting a brace on the last game day, he is still our fourth highest scorer in the league this season , behind Sonny, Kane & OG.

The ex-Juve lads were class. You can see they are used to being in such high-pressure situations, and both delivered. They didn’t look the least bit troubled, and just got on with it with ruthless efficiency. We’ve been lacking that in non-GK positions for years.

What I find amazing is how well they (Kuluveski and Bentancur) have slotted into the PL. Not an easy league to get use to or play in.

Such a good player and exactly what we needed for that right side - a proper playmaker.

In a weird way I wonder if missing out on Diaz helped us to get top 4. If we'd dropped 50m on a single player in Jan doubt we would've dropped another 20m on Bentancur and probably would've ended up with someone like Amrabat on loan instead.

It was the combination of signing both a good RW in Kulu AND a good CM that got us over the line in the end (literally if you take into account the opening goal yesterday). I struggle to see Diaz and a cheaper option having such a big impact.
