Hopefully a loan because he has shown when he gets gametime he is extremely talented.

Here's the thing. He is not Conte's choice, what he is, is acceptable.

There are others that Conte prefers but understands there has to be a compromise somewhere due to competition regulations. Spence makes the most sense as far as price is concerned and Levy thinks Spence is the best way around the situation financially but there comes a point when it isn't and we are close to that already.

As I say not Conte's pick, but it's something he believes he can work with as long as he gets his other positions filled to his standards and requirements.

We have been exploring other ways around it which is why Madison and JWP have been linked. Neither of these are Conte picks either, but a compromise has to be made somewhere, which as I say, AC fully accepts.

Don't want to give you a disagree here but Pleat's still got Levy's ear and his name crops up occassionally. I always get the impression Levy takes a lot of "advice" on targets from outside our official structure.

Thanks, It's why I put public knowledge, I should have worded it as "reported by the media", interesting that Levy still holds his opinion in good regard though.
