Just been told talks today have been positive. How close I don't know but at least it's moving in the right direction.
So glad I didn’t post my original thoughts/post several weeks back...‘I’ll eat my knob live on sc if bale signs with us’ ?? I’d have to pop the little acorn out in public; again

You bastard. now I'm worried about how Harry will react to our fans singing 'born to play for spurs' instead one 'one of our own'.

(thanks as every)

Anyone else ever get confused as to how these people can spent hours and several days having 'positive' discussions without actually doing the thing.

How do you even put breaks in that conversation?

"Florentino? Daniel. Bale?"
"Yes - do you want him? He's stinking up the place"
"Sounds good - we'll catch up tomorrow"
..

"Florentino? Daniel. Bale?"
"Yes - do you want him? He's still stinking up the place. We'll pay half his wages"
"Sounds good - we'll catch up tomorrow"

...

"Florentino? Daniel. Bale?"

(you get the picture).

I can understand why there'd be a lot of internal discussion - looking over finances and projections and what not, but with the other club it seems a bit... simpler if it's a loan.

???

I wouldn't even think there is a real conversation taking place through the phone or what. Is more like a negotiating Q&A over email but at a pace of one question per email per day!
