No doubt Bale's class, we all witnessed the growth and trophies he won at Real the motivation to go to China worried me coming back to Tottenham with his injury record and wages, Levy will have to do the numbers.

Why any fan would care about the numbers baffles me. Let Levy and the money men deal with that. Just enjoy one of the greatest players of the last decade potentially coming to play for us. Yeah I've also had a sleepless night as COVID, as expected, has left me unemployed. So just been reading job descriptions all night. This thread has at least provided some positivity.

Another 1 COVID cost me mine too every job seem to go for there seems about 100 going for same one. COVID also cost me my mum too in April

On a serious note, I can only imagine Bale's face when he see's the stadium and training ground. Things have changed for the better on a massive scale since 2013. I honestly think he will be blown away as the facilities and working environment will be better than what he had at Madrid.

I just hope Mourinho realises he will have the players to go "4-3-3 balls out mode", and not play exactly the same way but with Bale in for Son. We'd be better, but not a lot better, whereas with Son, Kane, Bale in a front three with aggressive full backs, we'd be seriously dangerous!

I wonder if he’s ever been to the new training ground or stadium? It’s all got to be pretty impressive, certainly after seeing the away changing rooms on the AoN documentary. Jose knows Madrid pretty well, and he says our facilities are the best in the world. That really is something quite special.
