I was talking about specifically the next few days.

My reply was related to people getting nervous about us not meeting the clause and losing out. I assume the bid the BBC reported was made a while ago anyway, and they’ve just got wind of it.

I just think it’s par for the course that we’ll be doing our best to keep anything that could be unsettling to the dynamic of the playing squad out of the press over the next few days. Big transfer news - out or in - is one of those that could unsettle things.

He's a playmaker, ether deep lying or advanced. I was very impressed by his goal return last season, but I wouldn't be getting him thinking he will net a lot. Worth noting that it took a while before he was a regular starter at Betis and he was played in many different positions. He is certainly very creative and I wouldn't worry too much about his assit numbers last year.

Ok, so hopefully more of a product of the players around him.

Members on their forum seem to think around 80m Euros is the magic number that they simply could not refuse to turn down. I believe most recognize that it is an economically strong move to sell him and reinvest in the team.

They also discuss the "clause" that he is due a pay-raise if a significant bid comes in, making the situation of him staying now all the more complicated.

70m euros + add-ons would be my guess. Talk of including Janssen in any deal would be great business for Betis.
