As for Scat, he is literally saying (baring the transfer not happening, and he hopes it does happen, obvs!) it's us not paying up for Lo Celso and nothing to do with anything under handed by Betis. Pretty clear bud.
So Le Celso is off, Betis have broken off talks with us and we're now left in limbo, what a time to be alive as a Spurs fan!

It's important to remember that, according to paper talk and previous ITK, Betis messed us around all summer with Janssen too.
It's for that reason that I don't see this happening. I don't see why they'd be doing it, but it seems obvious to me that they have been messing us and the involved players around all summer.

Ok I'd rather have seen us announce the deal done fair enough but I was thinking after he didn't play last night that they will probably probably play one last card to make it look like they are controlling this before the deal goes through and so when I saw that article it confirmed my impression. I may be odd but I see it as a positive.
