These types of deals are incredibly commonplace in European football. The Mbappe transfer was initially a loan ffs.

James Rodriguez, Mbappe, Coutinho....

I thought we just had to qualify for Europa next season as a minimum for us to take the transfer permanent? Not that we’re looking like doing that on current form.

What’s with the doh rating @Larryfromthelane ?

It's an obligation to buy if we qualify for Europe. I'm sure the option will still be there if we don't.

Let’s hope he’s settling in then as he looks like a quality addition. And if he gets injured on international duty again this week we truly are cursed. Fingers crossed he comes though the matches unscathed.

The exact kind of post that displays your ignorance and the desperate need to needlessly attack our chairman from our own fans.
grow up.
I’m not a child nor am I desperately attacking the chairman as you eloquently put it, furthermore who the hell are you to say I’m ignorant what a bloody cheek .
We can see the work Levy has done with the training ground stadium improved contracts to certain players also the work his done within the community of Tottenham... however the Lo Celso deal has certain conditions after all its a loan deal subject to.

The Mbappe deal was more about financial fair play and working around that.
Though I do recognise loan deals are the norm in certain European countries notably Turkey and Italy. Not so much in England I don’t think these deals are the norm here... as image rights part ownership etc ain’t.

You said that only Levy can do such deals when the truth is that there's been loads of loan to buy deals on players around Europe.

Your ignorance is there for all to see, the reason why the deal was done this way was to get around the fee that PSG were owed had we purchased him. The fact of the matter is we have to buy him if we qualify for Europe, if we don't we have an option not to buy him, so how the hell does that indicate him not backing Poch?

It was a stupid post, just admit it. There's plenty of angles to attack Levy with, if you're that bored I'm sure you'll be able to find a few but this isn't one of them, you've made yourself look a bit silly tbh.

Attacking Levy? jeeeezzzz

So if we don’t qualify for Europe!!!!! as the details of the loan move came out and you’ve stated , we’re not obliged ( note you didn’t use that specific word obliged) to buy him right?.... most loans I’ve heard of are with an option to buy regardless I’ve personally not heard of such details before.
The Lo Celso loan is subject to certain conditions plus a bit of skulduggery/cleverness in not paying a percentage to PSG ( if if if )

There is a possibility however (small if we don’t qualify) that this deal can fall through right or wrong? therefore its left to be questioned imo

I’m seeing things differently to maybe how you see things . Less of the insults

So now you're basing your argument of a hypothetical 'if' situation and using that to come to an early conclusion about Levy, let's deal with that when is comes up, personally I think we will still buy him ( why wouldn't we) but the point is now is not the time to show some faux outrage over something you have no clue about then claim that the manager hasn't been backed. If he isn't here next year you'll have a point but right at this moment you don't, you don't need to question it now, question it when he's sent packing back Betis on an Easyjet flight, there's other things to worry about.

How are you going to say less of the instults when you've told me to grow up :D

I still think your missing the point but I’m gonna stop there before you accuse me of being a troll (if I remember correctly).

Hope he doesn't get injured, this has been a feisty first 15 minutes so far, two penalties already.

Played 59 minutes in a 1 nil win over Brazil. Let’s hope he’s picked up some valuable fitness and confidence.

No mate, I think you're confused. The man shouldn't even be training let alone playing a match lest he stub a toe or catch a splinter.
