Honestly with the deals we've made on Kulusevski and Bentancur I really don't worry about what we sell Lo Celso and Ndombele for. We could still get back what we pay to Juve. If Lo Celso pays for much of the Kulusevski deal this summer then happy days.
Exactly and if the powers that be are fine with the price and saving in wages then there are reasons for that in my view. Yes everyone wants to make a profit or decent buy back but sometimes there are other things at play like future relations for future deals etc. if it gets the green light then will have to just move on with it.

I’d say an Argentine international in his prime and performing well is probably £30m+ but the price comes down to the wealth of the clubs interested.

Its that last bit thats the issue - no demand is a reduction in fee. They know we want to get rid. Its the same with Ndombele although he isnt a regular with France.

Even if we sell them at a loss money wise, it still brings in money for other players and make up the shortfall with perhaps saving of wages, CL football etc. But not ideal.

I think wages would also be an issue for Villareal. I think I read somewhere that Lo Celso was on 70k a week. Might be wrong. That's probably impossible for them

Otherwise I'd say let's swap him (perhaps + a few million) for Pau Torres and loan Torres back to them for the season :) That way we have another CB option next summer if any of the others don't work out or want to leave due to lack of playing time. (joking a bit because we'd still have to pay some of Torres's wages and there are rumours of a bigger move to Prem anyway)

He’s definitely worth more than €18m Euros, and especially to Villarreal. Thats a derisory offer. Full Argentinian international, just turned 26, contract for 3 more years, and they are bringing him to a league where he’s now had multiple successful stints (and obviously one of those with them). If they want to play that game, we are better off giving him a loan to La Liga again and watching him perform well and then selling next summer. If cash flow isn’t the immediate concern, we don’t have to really rush a move right now.

And I bet if we said to Villarreal we want to re-sign Foyth they would ask for a damn sight more than €18m. Lo Celso albeit a different position is a class above Foyth and he’s had a very successful loan period. You’re talking a minimum of £25m which is what, circa €27-30m.

Probably, but I would argue..

Horrific injury record (for spurs)
Terrible form (for spurs)
Lack of passion (for spurs)

When we signed him, he had just had an amazing season for Betis, so 30m - 40m was ok.

We signed him almost 3 years ago and he has done absolutely nothing for us since. It's time to cut our losses.

Some players don't adapt to the premier League, you could argue it's our fault with changes of management and perhaps not giving him enough freedom, but if Conte doesn't want him and he has done nothing for us, we should be happy someone wants to buy him.

I would bite a clubs hands off if we got a similar offer for ndombele.

Maybe another option could be to use him as a makeweight for someone like mckennie, but those deals are not always simple.

I don't see anything to show that foyth is worth more than the 15m that we got for him.

He's played the majority of the season at RB, he also hasn't played that many games, presumably sharing his game time with aurier.

25 for foyth seems ridiculously high for an ok right back.

Only problem with that is his contract - he would be down to 2 years next summer I assume ? Puts us in an even worse bargaining situation. Granted he could be moved on in Jan but that is more difficult and he might be cup-tied

Yeah I know but surely one of them could play in the middle :)
Possibly, but think I'd prefer someone who's used to playing in the middle of a back three, but I do appreciate that Dier wasn't prior to this season.

We’ll just to wait and see what interest comes in.
