If he comes here, we are NOT calling him fucking "Maddz"!
It's Maddisoning isn't it.

While there is plenty of talent out there, this is one that could be particularly transformative. Would think Ange would love to work with a player of his intelligence. It is probably too much to wish that Winks goes back their way but fingers crossed.

If we're willing to also buy Barnes and can save Leicester some of the sell-on fee for *checks notes* Maddyboy that might make us a more appealing buyer than Newcastle?

V.wishful thinking I suppose, but this type of deal is about as classic Levy as it gets. Just need to make the Barnes deal an initial loan with obligation to buy and it's Supreme LevyTM.

Could just call him the Father of the Constitution. Has a really nice ring to it. Really rolls off the tongue.

Why? How much have he actually watched of eze? Olise is a bigger talent than eze
I've watched a fair bit - and agree about Olise - but the question here was Maddison or Eze.

I think Eze offers more positional flexibility, and would be cheaper than Maddison. I think Maddison is a good player, but I think Eze just offers a bit more as either a CM/8 or a wide player up front.

Like Maddison, Eze is another with Base, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us going hard for him next Summer (at which point he'll be within a year of his contract expiry). Eze and JM's skillsets would potentially complement each other quite well I think.
