we had a better one but he's worth 60 million now. Trips isnt that bad just like Sissoko isnt that bad. They are the type of players we can afford. They cant all be Dele Alli bargains.
It just goes to show that we just can't keep letting our best players go. Imagine how good we'd be now with Walker and KWP as understudy.

I certainly didnt want him to go, but Id reckon a third around here wanted Trippier to start over Walker. Walker was one of the whipping boys. But anyway, once someone really wants to go its pretty hard to stop him.

I’m still laughing at the fact everyone actually rated him including even England fans at one point I remember a rumour of a Madrid bid.

He’s dreadful in any system other than a back 5.

He can’t defend he has no pace he can’t jump and he’s as weak as Tesco value squash

How he starts I do not know
He’s the David Bentley of RBs.

If only Trippier really wanted to go instead of Walker.

Trippier & Davies are practically identical poops, except Davies has slightly better defensive positioning.

Both slow as a Fernando Llorente
Weak, can't jump, short & the occasionally good cross

Trip and Davies are okay backups that get the odd game here and there .

Unfortunately they some how ended up being first choice Due to injuries and sales .

wouldnt have got 55 million for him. Im no Trippier fanboy but every time a player goes through a tough stretch he's suddenly "shit". it gets old. if we won as many trophies as Madrid you'd hear the same thing because they do there, too.

We really played into their hands today. they overloaded central areas and we just ended up carrying or passing the ball into those areas. What we needed was pace and energy on the flanks. Thats where we could of got in behind but we just don’t have the full backs to do it. Rose has got to start the majority of games now. If he’s not fit enough to do so then we need to look outside. Get the England lads in Chilwells ear. He’s still young but is fantastic full back already. Trippier the same really although I think Aurier deserves more time and KWP has got potential so maybe won’t have to look outside of the squad for that position.

Can take a free kick but can't defend, from a Spurs point of view the WC was the worst thing that could happen as he started to believe the hype

Should have been fantastic for Spurs as we could have sold him for a sum much more than he's worth.

Sell Serge & Tripps buy Wan Bissaka. RB & HG issues helped.

Hodgson has already said that he's not for sale. If they did let him go it would be for a huge fee ... more than we'd be willing to pay. I'm not sure having two inexperienced RBs is the way to go either.

To be fair how many managers come out and announce that their players are for sale?

It's not that he's god awful, it's just that he'll always have god awful games that will cost us dearly. If we are looking to improve our squad both fullbacks must be a top priority.

Maybe, but there's no reason for them to sell him at the moment as his value will keep going up as he gets more game time... especially if he gets an England call-up.

He's awful and to top it off he believes he's the bollocks because of the world cup. It's shocking he is first choice
