I blame Sissoko for improving... or maybe Jenas for retiring. There's always got to be scapegoat for spurs eh?

Nope. He tends to play most of the big matches against the top six and in CL, so it will skew the stats.
Those are the games where he makes the majority of his individual errors though, so i wouldnt say they were completely skewered.

His pathetic, lazy pass that set up the Rashford goal springs to mind.

I echo a lot of what has been said. I think he has become a bit too arrogant. And he's poor defensively.

But for someone who sees the ball as much as he does he's just a bit boring. I prefer it when full backs are an outlet to stretch play with overlapping runs. You don't need the ball to do that but we use Trippier almost like a playmaker. He can pick out a good ball sure but he's not that good to be in possession so much.

Get rid. KWP probably isn't going to be good enough either long term.

Still, at least we improved the team with all that cash we got off Man City for Walker.

He’s been in woeful form, of that there is no doubt Although he’ll always have massive holes in his game I think the WC and no preseason has effected him more than the others. He’s 28 and it’s the first time he’s ever had anything like it physically and emotionally.

I think a few have, especially the English lads. They went to the WC and did well plus the decent finish in the league and have come back this season thinking they are it. Dier has regressed a bit too. Has some of the hunger gone?

I've never thought he was at the level required for a top 4 team. its pretty damming that you have a 1st choice full back who can't defend, or has the pace to be offensively effective. These are the two basic attributes required for any decent full back, but is a glaring void with Trippier. The problem we face is that I'm less than convinced that either Aurier or KWP are any better.

We've had a real surge in hate in the thread today, he missed a penalty, it's not like he was responsible for any of the goals in a 2-0 loss.

But we lost, so this is the thread to vent and apportion blame.

Then we have a Spurs fan retweeting criticism from the Palace end, lovely stuff. ?

Not that it will happen but now would be a moment to be brave. Loan him out so we don’t have a pissed off player at club but play KWP and Aurier for rest of season. Test it to see if that will be good enough for next season as if we keep playing Trippier we won’t have a clue. It will mean we go into next season either still with Trippier as first choice or needing to spend money we barely have any of on someone when maybe, just maybe KWP could have replicated what Trent Alexander-Arnold has at Liverpool.

Maybe you should send Poch a strongly worded email then pointing out to him how he has a player that is dogshit playing in our team on a regular basis. Should probably contact Southgate as well seeing as he keeps getting picked for England. Oh and also FIFPro the worldwide representative organisation for 65,000 professional footballers who nominated him to be in the FIFPro World XI.

Guess they're all wrong though because you know, he gave the ball away to Pogba inside the United half, which they went on to score from and a bunch of spurs fans reckon he's shit.

I agree that Trippier has made a few errors that have cost us and he certainly isn't at his best, but calling him "dogshit" is ridiculous.

He isn't good enough to be starting so many games for us. Fine giving him a game here and there during a season but he simply isn't good enough to be our regular starting RB. Neither is Aurier imo.
