I think if he was a 20 year old doing that it would be very impressive. Just that he isn’t that young how much more can he develop his game to be at a troohy challenging team
He can still develop a lot. A players development is not exponential and sky rocketing between a certain age. There are many factors involved in a players development, like the managers and coaching staffs ability to develop a player, learning from influential team mates (like Maddison) and playing in a bigger league like the Premier League.

Off topic, but Manor Solomon's Israeli international team-mate Liel Abada who was also Ange first significant signing for Celtic for £3.5m is out for 4 months with an injury on international duty.

Hopefully we've come through unscathed with all our players after these internationals.

Don't over think it. All that matter is he is immediately useful to us now. When and if we get CL we can reassess him.

The season after Dembele turned 24, he went from average Fulham player to a player both us and Utd were interested in and it was another couple of years before he became one of the best CMs in the league.

Modric was 24 when he went from being a player not quite ready for CM in the PL (was being played on the wing) to looking like a player with a lot of potential there and a few years later one of the best CMs in the world.

When Mitoma turned 24, he was playing his last few games in Japan, before signing for Brighton and going out on loan to Belgium for a season.

Solomon absolutely can develop a lot, whether he will or not remains to be seen.

He was 21 on that night v Inter Milan and 22 when he got double figures goals and double figure assists in the league in a single season. He was 23 in his last season with us.

He's decent this lad.

He adds something very different to what we have. That low centre of gravity and 1v1 ability. He’s so quick off the mark. He’ll really help us against all teams as he can dribble out of tight areas, get in behind with his pace and dribble intricately in the box

He has very good shooting ability too. Hope we can see more of his shots for us this season.

His physical profile is vey interesting in that he is short and as such has a low centre of gravity, but he is also very strong in his legs and has quite a long stride given his height. Yet he's twinkle toed enough to keep the ball close while dribbling and find a pass in a crowded box.

Really looking forward to seeing more of him this season.

Love that he gave the opposition player a bit of a shove when they were getting a bit physical! Good lad.

If he lets off the handbrake and really goes at defenders then he could be lethal.

He’s got the ability to turn in tight spaces and he’s quick.

All up-to him .

He glided past TAA a couple of times but they were so deep that even if he beat his man there was at least another one right there - don’t think too much can be taken from last night with how defensive they were by the time they went to 9 men.
