Agree. Not just him, but the Gvadiol fee reporting was nonsense as well, proclaiming it was cheaper than Maguire but ignoring the add ons that would mean they will probably pay more.

Wouldn't mind this outcome at all. These 3 + the young ST and our squad is shaping up very very nicely.

But that's entirely usual in the business world - agents play a certain role within certain agreed parameters, if the parameters don't get you there then the principals meet and the deal gets done (or not).

And most importantly, the lawyers get FUCKING paid. Cash. Money.

Sky are reporting initial fee of £34.5m which seems more reasonable. I suppose depending on add-ons it could reach the reported £50m.

Wow. That is a lot given his relative lack of experience. One year in a top flight league and not even a senior international yet.

Sutalo for 30 vs VdV for 50? I’m not sure I wouldn’t rather have the former.

nobody can say this is Daniel going for the “cheaper” option.

I’m worried it’s the right one. For 50M and with all of Europe to pull from we ought to be able to get a guy that goes into the starting 11 without even a thought.

Must admit that is bloody expensive for someone who has only played 38 games in the bundesliga. Wonder what leverkusen want for Tapsoba if that’s the case.

It's a £34m fee, it only rises if he is a successful acquisition based on things that would consist of apps, trophies, qualifying for Europe etc.

Our initial outlay is £34m, don't let the €50m numbers deter from the actual price he is for this window and possibly for all of his time here if he doesn't reach certain heights.

This guy could be a monster of a player for us in time. We need to give him time and patience. Udogie + VDV....no fast wingers will be outpacing our left side this season.
