Surely if only verbal agreement then it can't be categorised as a 'here we go'?

But great news all the same.

A bit later than we'd have liked but quite a few of us more level headed posters did say a new CB will probably get done soon after we get back from Tour as the whole narrative was Ange wanted to look at a few players on tour and we needed to see how the Kane situ was likely to play out.

Very solid window so far with the addition of VDV, Vicario, Maddison and Solomon, all very exciting signings who should work well for Ange.

Also for all the bedwetting and panicking the last week or 2, here is a top class CB now signed.

As I've said this whole window and approach since we hired Ange has felt different, more controlled, more decisive.
