Any successful clubs philosophy should be if you are crap you are going to be moved on. The fact that someone like Sissoko has hung around like a bad smell for so long speaks volumes.

One of the best Sissoko moments was in the CL when he ran at the Inter defence more or less creating the chance that Eriksen finished. His runs from deep were so useful at one stage as he would solely drive the team up the pitch.

I don't think we have seen him do that in years now. He isn't disciplined enough to play as a CDM - he never tracks his runner, loses his man in the box and for a 31-year-old shows no experience whatsoever. Hopefully next year Skipp takes his place, as we desperately need to start phasing Sissoko out of the squad.

who is Toby marking? You've got Dier and Toby on either side of 5'7" Sterling. Sissoko could've done better but the set-up was all wrong. Was actually a pretty nice effort by Laporte as well.
