Man has played 4000 minutes and nearly every game. In a side where he does a ton of running. Wasn’t good, but him being burnt out is a genuine reason, not an excuse, as to why he’s played this way.

I swear his strength is to just run about like a player controlled on fifa trying to tackle everyone all over the place.

Probably appeases the Yeah gwaaan lad get stuck in side of our brains but on a tactical level, I don't see how you can build a team around him as the sitting midfielder if he continues to play this way.

Lot of promising attacks killed by him also.

Nah, the team is broken you can see it - anyone who plays in this team against a half decent outfit will get shown up.

Yeah, think you're right.

Whats the solution? Looks like the financial situation means we'll be served up the same kack by the same players for the next two seasons.

Sell Kane? Only way of getting any money to recycle the squad a bit. But then again, Levy's terrible at selling players, getting 5-10 players out is surely the only solution.

So yep, we're fucked.

Kane isn't leaving until next summer which is fine for me but we need to start building from the summer with a new manager and setup and get rid of the players who aren't good enough and don't want to be here - Hojbjerg isn't one of them by the way.

Sounds easy enough, have you applied for the job?

Poor in possession. He grafts and think as part of the squad, is a really good option. First time starter?.....hmmmm really not convinced. I'm not sure he fits into the plans of any manager who wants us to play on the front foot. Doesn't eat up the yards and cover ground quickly enough imo. Throw in the fact he isn't particularly great on the ball, he really looks like someone who is a really good squad option or someone you'd throw into games where you may want to try and keep things a bit tighter.

If he is as great as some of our fans think he is I wonder why pep didn’t get him as Fernandinho’s heir

I love Mason's remark about Hojbjerg's goal:

"I'm not too sure what he was doing up there in the six-yard box!"
