Long-term none of them, adding Maguire now is a marginal improvement in the short-term but we'll be here in 12 months time with another player on ludicrously high wages that we're struggling to shift.

Consequently, they believe this rumour may have legs.

More legs than Casemiro currently appears to have at any rate.

Yeah, Ten Hag has spoken highly of PEH in the past and was close to signing him for Ajax before our interest scuppered it. Given ETH's penchant for bringing in players he's familiar with, this link actually makes a lot of sense. I could well see it happening if Amrabat and Gravenberch are no go's for them (although not in exchange for Maguire FFS!).

If they're willing to part with Sancho then I'd happily do a deal that would involve PEH + £££

Can't see that deal happening for a variety of reasons though.
