This is just a player I can't stand and I really struggle to look past the theatrics. Pisses me off watching him pretty much every time I see Everton, from all the time he spends on the ground 'in agony' only to shoot back up when it suits him. I don't like that whether it's someone else's player or ours. It's something that Royal even needs to cut out of his game a bit too.

Non- scoring ?
Gnabry 45 goals in league for Bayern in 4 years.
Richarlison 43 goals in league for Everton in 4 years…

If it’s between Gnabry vs Richarlison I will take PL proven Richarlison every time- he is a irritating diver but he is a fighter for the team. I think we can stop his play acting when he moves to a team with good senior pros like Kane lloris & Perisic … if we sign Gnabry and he flops , our lot could turn on him quicker given his past

Except Gnabry is more of an attacking midfielder than a striker, so it's like comparing apples with oranges.

So can anyone explain why Everton would sell him?

I wonder if this was something we were looking at in case they went down. Surely he'd be too expensive now.

That said I suppose from an Everton perspective it could be a good candidate for fixing their FFP issues. His book value must be quite low for them so £40-50m could get them back into the black for FFP in one fell swoop.

Everton have accounting concerns because of FFP, they need to sell to buy, so it’s likely they’ll sacrifice one of their bigger players to strengthen in other areas.
makes you wonder if they can't afford any fee for dele and have instead offered us a selection of players they'd be prepared to sell to us, at various price points.

Not my favourite player, but undoubtedly has talent and scores goals, hard worker too, just a bit too fond of falling over. Again if Conte wants him who is going to argue

He'd be a quality signing to challenge for one of the 2 forward positions off the striker.

Son, Kulu, Richarlison...possibly Eriksen.

That would keep us competitive all season, week in and week out.

I want him in purely for these sorts of posts every time we smash the gooners tbh.

Edit: for context, a bunch of Liverpool fans missed out on going to Paris when their coach didn't turn up to pick them up. Obviously Everton fans were delighted by this and quickly whipped up that photoshop lol

extra context - the Director of the supposed 'coach company' was called Mr Richard Arlison...

People get so wound up by a players shithousery but forget how enjoyable it can be when they are on your side.

Richarlison is a grafter, a competitor and has put up decent numbers in broken Everton sides. He clearly has a bit of banter about him too.

Wouldn't be my first choice but we could do worse IMO.

I like Richarlison a lot but there is no way id take him at Spurs. He will do something that will just ruin things. He is passionate but also a hot head.

Except Gnabry is more of an attacking midfielder than a striker, so it's like comparing apples with oranges.

Except, Gnabry plays for a team that dominates its league, where their midfielder scores for fun....Richarlison didnt play as striker in all his seasons though...even if he was made to play there, it was because they were lacking...

Well, if we do apples to orange comparison.... Gnabry is yet another apple in a basket of good apples while Richarlison is a fresh orange in a basket full of rotten ones...

I don't think he'd be the worst option in the world to be honest. I'd prefer Darwin Nunez who I think is just about the most ideal player out there we could feasibly target who could legitimately rotate with both Son and Kane, and potentially future proof us for the next decade if he adapts to the Prem.

Richarlison though is Prem proven and cheaper. He usually plays a similar role to Son and has averaged 1 goal in 3, which is about the rate Son used to score at until the last couple of seasons where he's become more prolific. Richarlison is 4 years younger than Son and has the potential to improve too, especially in a better team.

I could do without some of the diving but he does work hard and a bit of shithousery in the right circumstances isn't necessarily a bad thing.
