I’d like to think if Winks has to deputize that he would give it everything. As he is in the shop window, and it is his (likely) last game for his boyhood club. He will want to go out on top.
sounds like Bentancur will play which is great news but I would play Devine or White if he wasn’t fit

Nah mate. There's a time to play youngsters and this definitely ain't it. On paper Norwich are shite but with so much riding on the game you have to go experience.

Restored calmness to the midfield. He isn't a Modric, and he might not even be an Eriksen, but thank God for someone who can give the players around him the confidence to pass the ball to him.

Hopefully he gets the injury niggles sorted out in the next two months, then I think we will see an even better model next season. Great signing.

He's a Carrick. Kinda wish he'd scored today, but it's his preference for a pass that makes me love him.

4 assists in 17 games while getting used to the new league, not bad at all. Could have ~10 assists next year in all competitions, he proved he's capable of it for Sarri, and his defensive work is always good too.

It's become normal for a passer to play deeper nowadays so it suits us to have Bentancur. A lot of teams press well high up the pitch so you need a passer to play out to bypass the press. It's the biggest weakness we had with Winks being the one who we needed to to play out of the press with but I think Skipp has looked great at it too. It leaves the player alongside (Hojbjerg) to be the box to box player and press the opposition high when we get up the pitch. I see Kane as the 10 in our system now, he plays the types of ball Eriksen would play. I also see Kulusevski as a technical dribbler so they will be the more creative outlet in attack. Bentancur reminds me of Busquets in that anchor role but really for us he has replaced Dembele.

He was my MOTM today. Completely controlled everything, always on the half turn and looking to progress forward. I know Sonny and Kulu will take the plaudit, but RB and PEH were superb throughout.

Agreed, but I was so annoyed to see Winks come on when we were already up by four (or was it five?).

Honestly this boy is special, totally under the radar but he took our awful midfield and made it look very good!
Doesn’t give the ball away works hard and runs for days

Finally the "no midfield" era is over.

That assist for Kane shouldn't be taken lightly by the way. Nor should the header itself. First time dink into Kane was superb.
