I can’t say enough about this guy, what a signing, absolute class player and I don’t think he is anywhere near his best yet. So much more to come I think. Brought what we needed to our midfield.
Good shout. Keeps things quietly ticking over; usually the pass before the assist, but he times it so well. And I've said before that he's a back-foot player, in that he takes the ball on the half turn, opening up the whole pitch. Winks (not bashing, honest!) is a front foot player, meaning his first touch is usually back towards where the pass came from. That's why Bentancur is press resistant - can't tell in which direction he's going to control the ball, so you can't get too tight. He's a Carrick. Kinda wish he'd scored today, but it's his preference for a pass that makes me love him.
Definitely a massive improvement on Winks, was one of the best out there today, but I worry when he is not available. Winks isn't good enough a replacement. I want Bissouma in for rotation with him.
Don't forget Skipp, a fully fit Ollie gives us 3 quality CMs.Definitely a massive improvement on Winks, was one of the best out there today, but I worry when he is not available. Winks isn't good enough a replacement. I want Bissouma in for rotation with him.

Sure, another would be great but as long as Skipp fully recovers, don't think CM is a priority
Yep, well it would be nice, but for me a keeper WB and striker are all bigger priorities.Skipp should rotate with PEH. I want two sets, we'll be playing a lot of games and a lot of important games next season.
Very unselfish of him but I would have loved him to have taken it on himself and scored his first for the clubCan’t believe he was 7 yards out and then just nonchalantly squared it to Kulu with the outside of his foot. Talk about playing the game at your pace.
3 isn’t enough we need anotherDon't forget Skipp, a fully fit Ollie gives us 3 quality CMs.

3 is not enough. If one goes down with a long term injury like Skipp’s had this year then the other two would need to play PL and CL matches and be burnt out by Feb.Don't forget Skipp, a fully fit Ollie gives us 3 quality CMs.
