Well if he improves massively they might take him back to just sell on. Pretty sure they did that with Morata. Although if he has to agree to go back there then if he knows he isn't going back to play then he might not agree.

I imagine that will be a detail Levy will have been aware of to be honest, we even looked at Morata at the time so know what games Madrid play. Wouldn't surprise me if he put a clause against that at all. If Madrid buy him back at the 'low' price they can't sell him in the same window for example, or a split on the profit if sold in the same window.

If there is no special rules on quarantine for footballers, or he is doing that at the training ground, then yeah.

Why would their be? He, and Bale would have to self isolate when they arrive... be interesting to know if there is exceptions?

That I don't know, but there is something for teams isn't there?

So if we played a game in Spain, the squad wouldn't need to self isolate for 14 days.
Just not sure about transfers.

Unless! We put him up in the training ground Hotel rooms and then technically he's quarantining even at the training ground!

(I get that that's not how it works)

Hopefully this just means he's at a spurs facility getting his medical rather than the actual training ground.

Saw an Arsenal supporter on Reddit say that Ceballos did not have to isolate for them after arriving from the Real Madrid camp. I'm guessing accomodations are being made for elite athletes, who by and large are living within controlled settings that (during the season) put them at substantially lower risk risk for infection. I'm guessing all he'll need is a negative test result and he'll be good to go.

Why wouldn't he? Not being shitty here btw I would love him to go straight in to training.

I think there is special dispensation for elite athletes, but I might be wrong. That Pervis has just gone straight from Watford to Villareal, so I don't think it's the same as Doris the receptionist coming back from Benidorm

He would have to self isolate coming from Spain.

No I've seen (I think Ally Gold stated) that the rules state if he undergoes an MRI before leaving and then a negative COVID test means he can go straight into it. There is an exception for "elite sports athletes" or something along those lines.

He was training at Real Madrid's training facility for the last week or so, so probably fell under the sporting exemption.
