I did consider it but meh.

I'm not suggesting none of our signings will come good but fuck me, none of them are really inspiring much confidence right now and as for Ndombele, well, no matter what his potential, what we've had out of him so far is fucking embarrassing. Whoever signed that cheque needs horsewhipping. It's like buying a brand new car and having it break down as you pull off the forecourt.

We have never done well when we've gone on a spending spree. Like the bale money, it's as if levy realises the natives are getting restless and feels the need to make a statement. But rather than buy what we need or identify suitable fits he just rounds up the nearest available bunch with impressively rabona worthy surnames.

As a fan base we have to take some of the blame as we collectively turn our nose up at getting grealish, chilwell , max aaron types even giroud was too boring and unexotic . But if was those types of targets that got us where we are.

I reckon the early season shit that Eriksen got for pulling out of tackles has scarred him. But he's learnt you cant be slated for pulling out of tackles you dont go for.

Part of the problem is that nobody in their right mind thought that a player that cost £54m (so far) would be the least fit player on the planet. So conceivable scenarios are that the club didn't do their due diligence, OR, there's a more serious injury problem that's being managed.

Sessegnon AND Bergwijn for the LW spot is all a bit strange. Sessegnon was bought presumably because of what he did up top for Fulham (16 goals, was it?) - so what do we do? Put him at Left Back and bring in another LW in Bergwijn.

Clarke... looking like another strange punt.

Gedson, utility player, you say? right then. I suppose that's useful? Jury's out.

Shout out to Lo Celso who IS absolutely living up to the hype - 1 out of 6 coming good in their first season is quite good going for us.

The kindest way I can describe this signing is disappointing. Not confident it will get much better TBF.

I gave Aurier as an example that tactics can be adjusted to accommodate his qualities going forward...is that not understood?

Another example. Harry Kane in the past has played games not fully match fit but for his qualities was played and allowed games to get up to match fitness.

Ndombele imo clearly needs match fitness which is a different sort of fitness ( pretty sure you know the difference)

If he STILL needs match fitness after an almost full Pre-season and 28 opportunities in the league alone - then either we've got a problem or he's got a problem......or both!!

Still contributed more than Gio... I do admit he needs to sharpen up and work harder though..

If you didn't watch any matches and based your opinion solely on stats then you'd think that he's made more contribution but your opinion is probably the biggest load of rubbish I've read all day.

Lo Celso is our best player right now and if you think because he hasn't scored or assisted enough then you need to watch him during the matches a lot closer.

I do believe recently some players in our squad were burnt out due to the Poch regime. BUT also that the problem runs deeper and that our physios and medical staff aren't good enough. The injury updates we get are always so bloody vague you wonder if they actually have a clue about A) the injury and B) the time spell out.

People talking about

This! Everyone expects him to be peak Yaya. He is obvs more of a Rafa than Yaya. Why ask a fish to fly or a bird to swim! Play to his strengths.

VDV was 28 when he played for us and already had a few known issues - but still put a shift in.
Ndombele is 23 and should be at his peak.

Play him today and see what he's made of. Norwich have a championship midfield. If he puts in any effort at all, he can win this match by himself for us.

Doesn’t start tonight. Guess Mourinho can see his lack work rate is too much of a risk
From August to November I don’t recollect his work rate being noticeably by bad... something must have changed. Unless people are basing their assumption off of a 20 minute sub appearance and a 7 second video clip. Where he was actually good on the ball.
