Im not aggrieved just find it funny, that me saying something that other journos are saying has caused such hysteria. Now if i said some of the other info that I've been told that hasnt been reported anywhere id fully understand people questioning it and calling me out for it. However its out there. If A&C or Rob want to know who i get info from im sure they will ask me and ill tell them.

Sorry let me clarify. Im not ITK. He wants to leave. Not sure how that constitutes me being all over the place. reliable sports journalists have gone on record saying he has asked to leave. Me saying ive heard from someone reliable that he wants to leave when that information is already that does not break any rules. Its not like its from total left field. It was on twitter before 8pm which is when i said something. So maybe no one in here was talking about him wanting to leave but the statement of he has asked to leave was already out there. Not that i had seen that when i was told. I waited to see if it was corroborated anywhere. Which it has. Not claiming to have any knowledge that no one else does. And wasnt leading anyone on a merry dance. I stated something which is in the know and then said i wasnt quoting any rumours. The fact people get upset that people might know more than someone is what caused the merry dance as people started demanding to know sources etc etc. Quite sad really

Fair enough. I learned last summer when I had info on Bruno et al that folk are so hungry for info, that they’ll fall over themselves to gain it. I do get it on the one hand, but I wasn’t prepared for the deluge of pm’s and urgency to share. I learned. And for my own self I’ll always go via the governors

But your the one who has brought this 'news' here and refused to link to any reports when others have asked where the info came from, or others reporting it.

With the amount of false news that's out there, people just want to know how reliable the info is

Then you should have said that right off the bat when someone asked 'what rumour' and you said 'i never referenced any rumours'. All people wanted to know was what you were referring to and you just added more layers of confusion.

Because nobody knows who you are and that you were in fact referring to information that you yourself had. Then you started with stuff about being backed up by journalists, no names, no publications, just 'journos on twitter' like we are supposed to understand what you are talking about.

All it looked like is you talking about a rumour that nobody has seen so they naturally wanted clarification on what you were talking about or if you had simply misunderstood an existing one.

I totally understand that. Noted for future reference. Maybe i misinterpreted the initial messages directed at me that seemed to imply i was a wind up merchant or making stuff up. Im prepared to tell staff in DM who i get info off. I could say at this point i have some players numbers in my phone and know some people who work at some football agents. I could post pictures of me and Jack cork for instance who ive known for over 13 years. People would demand their phone numbers. As for not saying what journos were saying stuff. People posted who had stated it online so didnt feel the need to then say what journos had as people had already done that.

My name is Cuthbert. Now you know who i am. ?. True there was no need for the merry-go-round esp when 4 posts after my original post someone stated the reliable journo who had also stated the same thing. Thus negating the reason for me to state where i got info from.

Surely you can see why people have questioned this post?
You make no mention of having heard any info, just a random statement on something that most people hadn't yet heard.
A simple "I've heard" would have nipped things in the bud a lot earlier. You may well have still been questioned as to your information but it initially came across as the sort of knee jerk opinion that we see so often on here.
