So he's unlikely to be going anywhere unless he's that desperate that he takes a wage cut, unless we subsidise his pay. What a mess, has David Bentley vibes.

The only feasible clubs from a financial perspective TN could go to are Real Madrid and A Madrid (if they lose Partey).

Others:

Bayern Munich - play a high press, the whole team are like energiser bunnies. The polar opposite of Tanguy.

Leipzig - can’t afford him

Dortmund - can’t see them being able to afford him and/or want him

PSG - got the cash but similar to Bayern they play a high press.

Juventus - in financial trouble

Lazio, AC Milan, Atalanta, Roma - can’t afford him

Inter Milan - potential for player swaps but they’ve a managerial situation to sort out 1st = time we don’t have

Barcelona - skint and only old players available for exchange

EPL - can’t see us selling to a rival and he wouldn’t be able to hack the required tempo

The only likely option is Real Madrid... he would fit in perfectly as they beat pretty much everyone without breaking a sweat in Spain. This is despite them being nowhere near the threat they used to be.
We’re fucked then. I don’t see anyone taking him for 42 million/ 200k a week. Best we can hope for is a loan unless the lazy, selfish twat can become a bit more aware of his obligations as a professional footballer

Pig in a poke. Was right all along.

Fucking banter.

''Ohhhh but he hits a belter of a ball on youtube'' ...

Totally worth it ...

I'd take Coutinho or Rakatic on a season loan.

We won't have any trouble finding interested clubs, the problem will be the fee and how stubborn Levy wants to be.

An argument can be made that he can't expect to recoup what we paid, considering that was an entirely different financial landscape, however, we know there are clubs out there than can afford to pay that amount and we also know Levy won't blink when it comes to getting what he wants.

My concern is that we need to use that money to strengthen and time is of the essence.

I think the opposite is true. Someone posted the options last night a couple of pages back and takers for him are pretty slim pickings, if any. I’d be prepared for him still being here next season and the fact we couldn’t sell him being the excuse for why we haven’t brought in all the players we needed to this window.

Can't see him moving as I can't see anyone paying what we want.
Something I thought of previously was the fact that if Jose wanted this midfield trio of GLC, PEH and Ndombele he probably wouldn't be bale to accommodate Dele and that's why watching the game on Saturday I thought it said a lot that it was bascially the double pivot in midfield - in which case Tanguy will not play aside from EL in my opinion.

:ROFLMAO: I don't actually think of the first part upon hearing the word, it's an attempt at mocking both those that do and those that use the (perceived) problematic terms in the first place.

I'm amazed people think words don't have socialised meanings beyond literal usage.

If it helps to show the full context, here are some uses of 'encourage' to show that it's not some sort of race-specific phrase.

First page of Google search for "premier league player entourage"

Morgan Sanson: https://insidefutbol.com/2020/08/08...nd-players-entourage-showing-interest/466717/
Neymar: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9936529/inside-neymar-entourage-psg-wages-celebrity-parties/
Lucas Torreira: http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-direct-contact-arsenal-players-entourage-gunners-dont-want-lose/
Willian: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...n-Tottenham-doubt-entourage-rubbishes-reports
Harry Kane: https://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-new...onvinced-player-can-leave-club-for-lower-fee/

Anyone in sport who earns a bucket load of money will have an 'entourage' of people - agents, salaried friends etc. Like flies circling food.
I've never heard of it in a drug dealing sense, but the use of the word 'Cadillac' makes me think this is some sort of perception you've absorbed from US culture, which is problematic in the world for different reasons.

But of course words have meaning beyond literal use - but projecting your own meanings on to other people's words is flawed, because it's spurious and build on assumption and conjecture. If they used different words for different classes of people (something like 'associates' and 'entourage') you might have a point, but they don't.

I was hoping that closure of fast food outlets during the lockdown would help sort out his fitness issues. Reading all the itk it would appear it hasn't made any difference

I promise I'll give this the response it deserves as soon as I'm able. Not ghosting.

The alleged deal with Inter seems the most likely to me, although bringing in Skriniar would throw the cat amongst the pidgeons with our Centre Backs.
