You’re conspicuous by your absence when he’s playing well. And then as soon as there’s a poor performance from the team you’re back. In fairness you’ve said the same about Bale, Sánchez and Davies, just seems strange to feel the need to jump in here when ever he’s had an average game and tell it like it is.
Flattered that you’re keen to read my opinions.
But for the umpteenth time I don’t slag him off, I just don’t rate him as highly as some on here.
Look, we’ve got 5 or 6 nailed on automatic starters that we’d miss awfully:
Lloris
Reggie
PEH
Son
Kane

strangely enough last night showed how much we miss Sissoko. Ndombele isn’t there yet

That’s a good point but it actually makes mine, in that he is a very talented footballer but that talent alone isn’t enough. Otherwise he wouldn’t keep subbing him

Nothing to do with the fact he's the only guy who's been trusted to do double duty starts the past 2 weeks then NAH?

You’ve not been in the Winks or Dele threads recently have you?
Erik Lamela says whaddup

I'm hearing you out but those players had a fair go before they received their criticism. Tanguy had 6 months of joining a new league in a country he didn't speak the language until people were bringing up articles from when he was 17, over-analysing his body fat index over randomly selected pictures, and criticising his posture when walking.

I have to say I was definetly in the get rid camp - this season he has done alright and at times been pretty dam good - still not in the demi-god status that some seem to have him in and I would like to see more of an end product but in the set up he is doing well as is the team

No players get a fair go before they get criticised especially when they cost such a lot of money and delivered so little

Not sure where the lack of ‘end product’ is coming from. He slid a perfect ball in to Son in the last game. He does that a fair bit. That’s end product my guys.

Again, before you make statements like this, you need to go and read the Lamela thread from when he signed. I'm not mugging you off here, I'm just telling you that you're wrong.

some still knocking him, get a life. Anyone who understands football can see he’s assisting and assisting the assister- his problem Son misses at WBA?

Hes also under instructions to lead the press- just watch how many charges for a high turnover he initiates

yes, he makes mistakes but they all do- he is learning to keep it simple most of the time when it makes sense to do so

get behind him

get behind him

I think its important to remember that TN doesn't read these threads . People on a footie forum don't have to 'Get behind him' or conform
to anyone else's opinion . Yes , in the stadium get behind him...but this place is about opinions .

I'm a TN fanboy from his first brilliant turn away from a marker , but have no desire to make anyone else conform to my opinion .

Great point, I WANT him to be the best player in the league and he might become that player but he’s not yet. I just think some fans get carried away with certain players.

I don’t think it’s that important, myself. Or that I can make anyone on here do anything.

let’s both get behind him from our sofas this afternoon or in the middle of the night in my case.

Cheers
