NDombele has been marginalized by Mourinho. Hopefully it will change to the better but up to now he has pushed ND to the back. I think for NDombele to work the best we need to develop partnerships and understanding between players to create a flow to goal. NDombele is the key,he has the eye for a pass immediately when he gets the ball he knows what to do with it. But developing chemistry with others is a product of faith in them and also how you protect them and us with defensive players so that they can create. I agree though,Lo Celso is a good ball player and while I havent seen him run the attack like a quarterback,I see Ndombele can do that. Lo Celso is perfect to get the ball going from NDombele and working with him but they need strength behind them. In this last game when ND came on we gained the momentum, when Mourinho took off Sissoko, Bournemouth gained some more momentum as ND had to have an eye on defence and Sissoko is good at getting back.
Yeah definitely agree with that. Him sometimes knowing what pass to make before he receives the ball and executing that pass first time is a massive plus, it's simply something that none of our players do in that area of the pitch. Yep, with Lo Celso I do believe he's almost shackled in a sense because the lack of movement in the whole team gives him a lot less chance to play some of the passes I'm sure he'd like to bee playing. The two of them together could potentially be the catalyst to actual football being played out on the pitch. Definitely agree with the end of that too, I think to get the most out of Ndombele you have to have players doing more of the defensive work in the midfield too.
I'm not saying he doesn't have his negatives too as we've shockingly witnessed some of them already but it's still a massive shame to not see this guy on the pitch a lot more than we have, especially with the players being picked ahead of him but there's of course other reasons as to why Jose is not favouring him!
