I’m sticking my fingers in my ears and going la la la on this one.

The only thing we know about his attitude is that we know nothing about his attitude. We may think we can know his character and attitude by his performances on the pitch but we don’t know anything.

I just can’t see him leaving either so that’s why I’m going for the finger in ear approach and hope its all just been teething problems. Hopefully he gets more minutes and kicks on next season.

It doesn't look good but far too many take everything wrote on here as Gospel. Wasn't long ago that it was insinuated that Alderweireld had disrespected the club to where I thought he had sodomised the cockerel above the stadium the way reports were coming out and that situation magically turned itself around. We were actually hearing positive things during the lockdown about Tanguy so let's try and not react emotionally to what has been wrote. It doesn't look good, it's worth being concerned but let's wait and see until there's something we can tanguybly prove before getting so angry towards him.

Maybe people just don't care?

We bought a player, it didn't work out and now we need to sell him. Purchase don't always work out in any business, especially when the assets are human.

Yes it's a shame it didn't work out, and is it his fault for not being motivated? Yes. But I'm not going to lose sleep over whether someone else is motivated to do their job or not, especially when the job has nothing to do with me and I didn't spend the money to bring him in.

I get that ST and merch sales etc can be considered business investment and in that sense people do fund the club - but there's always a risk when you decide to invest in any business.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me I just wound get wound up about this stuff enough to have a go or write a post condemning him because all that means is the sport I follow for enjoyment and positivity just becomes negative and I have enough negative stuff in life to complain about to take on these things

I agree with what you've just said. I loved the look of N'dombele and thought he was the perfect fit ability wise for what we needed but i'm not so attached to my original opinion that I'm going to give him more leeway than I would any other player. And its the attitude that some other posters have that someone because he can do a stepover or has good vision should be allowed more chances that I don't understand. Good team environments aren't created that way the second you allow one player to slack it starts to spread and needs to be stamped out. I'm sorry but if a player isn't motivated when he first arrives he never will be and as you said he needs to be sold asap there are other talents in the world and there are other Harry Kanes who will work their ass off and come from nowhere and take everyone by surprise don't get attached to a player who doesn't want to earn your support.

I think he'll be here next season for a number of reasons;
1) He'd be a big risk for any potential buyer after the season he's just had.
2) His wages are top tier and nobody will want to pay him that much without some evidence he's worth it. We won't be subsidising his wages either.
3) We'd have to take a proper hit on his value, especially witht he effects of Covid.
4) Ndombele needs to repair some of the damage to his reputation to get any sort of attractive move.
5)) There's been a load of conflicting ITK so half of it must be bullshit. People seem to always take the most recent bit of ITK as gospel no matter where it comes from.

I don't think Levy will bail out on this and will be telling Mourinho he's paid 15m per year to deal with this kind of shit.

I’m sure one of the ITKS said they would tell us what happened with Alderwiereld once either he or Poch left. It was made out like you say as if he had summoned the Wanky Shit Demon at the training ground. I still wanna know what went down god dammit!

One, even two, year loan with option/obligation could be a way out for everyone.

Also do we trust Ricky Sacks at all? He tweeted earlier that Bergwjin had “violent words with him (Ndombele) during an altercation. Unsure how true that is

That was reported elsewhere - it popped up in this thread last night.

Sacks knows nothing. I expect he read it here before posting about it

Original source of the alleged altercation report (afaik), or at least the one being discussed on here last night. Also Ricky Sacks is a retweet merchant.

Anyone who turns up to training in a woolly hat, full winter tracksuit in 30 degree heat is defiantly not planning to train hard, should of seen the signs earlier that he’s a complete tosser.
Didn't AVB fall out with Adebayor over a hat? Hats should clearly be banned from the training ground. Simple.

Been thinking the same about #4 above. I used to be convinced that he would get his act together at least once the window shuts, as he would otherwise basically just be throwing his career away. Now I am actually not so sure he will ever be bothered enough, and maybe he is just being happy to become the next Winston Bogarde at the age of 23...

Think Ade wore his hat indoors during a tactical talk, and refused to take it off. If the manager chooses to challenge his player to take his hat off, you better make sure that you win that battle.

You don't believe the source who in the same news listed our 5 transfer targets when Aarons was the most obvious link for this window, Dunk and JWP just signed new contract and Ndidi&Grealish are worth 80m each??? Weird.
