If you look at the recent Instagram post from Bissouma, most of the top comments are "Come to Arsenal " or "Welcome to Arsenal"
Yup, that's fun
Yup, that's fun
Was talking about Nuno signing for Spurs weeks before everyone elseNo way Simon Jordan knows our transfer business other than what is in the mainstream media
I took my boys to their first and so far, only match at the Amex (can't currently afford to take them up to Spurs).Yeah I've got a Brighton mate who's one of the most reasonable football fans I know. I went down to watch a match at the Amex and was in the singing end - everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Defo my favourite non-Spurs prem club and set of fans.
Can only hope the Arsenal hierarchy are as deluded as some of their fans. Some more from ArsenalMania - they definitely aren't bitter or desperately trying to cope lol:
"Thats exactly why we've never made a move for Bissouma, as well as having a 50m 200kpw defensive midfielder who's better than him again the club. Let's meltdown when Arteta and Edu neglect the final third for the third consecutive summer as oppose to cover for the DM position."
"Bissouma doesn't start for us and he's not really going to come here to sit on the bench. Aside from that you don't really want to spend £25m on someone who might get done for sexual assault"
"Isn't Bissouma a SUSPECTed rapist ... why would arsenal touch him with a barge pole .. wouldn't want him at club it's bad enough we got a left back that sexually abuses dogs"
"Bissouma is basically a pound shop Partey, plus he has issues (fair or otherwise) associated with him that are “un Arsenal” so this was never going to happen. It could have happened a couple of seasons ago and we would have supported it then, but we now have other more pressing priorities."
"Don't think Partey and Bissouma would be the right midfielder to be fair. And we need to improve the starting 11 in this position, so wouldn't make much sense to spend this money on a back-up." They were dreaming of that pairing for months and now he wouldnt make their team
"Partey, Tielemans, Xhaka, ElNeny and Lokonga is miles clear of Bissouma, Bentencur, Hojberg, Winks and Skipp, don't get it twisted."
Oh the sweet and joyous tears of the fallen
The case was still under investigation as of last Monday, though that doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been dropped in the meantime. As I mentioned earlier Bissouma is officially considered a 'person of interest' (which I assumed was legally distinct from a suspect, but apparently not), while his friend is on bail. The fact this has dragged on such a long time suggests they have something on him, it's just a question of whether there would be enough to charge him.I heard the Poilice had a deadline for their investigation of early June. Hopefully it has been dropped now. I’m sure Spurs will have done due diligence.
Just enjoyed watching this, some great moments!

Posted in May. BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS.I for one choose to believe it is happening
I mean....it's not. It's really not. And we might be able to add Eriksen to that list"Partey, Tielemans, Xhaka, ElNeny and Lokonga is miles clear of Bissouma, Bentencur, Hojberg, Winks and Skipp, don't get it twisted."
Sounds like the case is ongoing but less serious for him. He’s no longer on bail but under investigationI just love this type of player... shades of Dembele and maybe he´ll become everything we wanted N´Dombele to be.. hoping that this is true, CM looks to be sorted for some time now.
Obviously the other thing is still hanging above him so let´s hope he´s being cleared too before long (if it hasn´t happened already, haven´t really checked or found anything) - I´d guess that Spurs have some knowledge on the state of proceedings?
Can I be the first to say, the sexual assault case chat is boring as fuck. Can we not please clog up his thread with this stuff? He hasn't been charged, nobody knows the facts, the club will have done their due dilligence. I don't care what moral highground people want to stand on. Take it somewhere else.
I don't want to keep coming into this thread to see people discussing this case.
Great bit of business.
My mate (who is also a Spurs fan) said that when Simon Jordan was talking about this on Talksport earlier, he also let slip that we had signed someone else and they quickly shut him down from saying any more. Did anyone else catch that bit? If true...Eriksen?
It may be boring to you but in this instance it has some relevance, especially when someone claims Bissouma is "probably guilty".Can I be the first to say, the sexual assault case chat is boring as fuck. Here is the added salt on top, all that information, regardless of you being innocent, is still held by the police as non-conviction information. You can apply to get it deleted, but good luck with that It comes up in background checks for certain jobs regardless of you not being convicted. System is fookedI'm bringing this here...
I think people are taking issue with the fact that you're assuming he's guilty.
Many people, even on here, have been wrongly accused of various things, or know people who have been.
It's far too often taken that a male must be guilty, even though our legal system is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
My ex wife has twice tried to have me arrested based on nothing but lies and on both occasions, the police initially treated me like a criminal. Even though I had all the evidence to prove my innocence and she had nothing against me.
A close friend of mine was recently falsely accused of sexual assault at work. It dragged on for months before finally being thrown out of court and him being found completely innocent.
He's a late 40's family man and probably the gentlest, kindest person I know, loyal to a fault. He would never, ever sexually assault anyone and I've known him since school.
So yeah, it happens more than you think and us as victims, don't really appreciated the whole "he's probably guilty" vibe that you're giving.

I agree, although @Aphex has a point re: the discussion of it.What a bleak state of affairs. Is this all fandom is to you, all bets are off as long as we can get a few trophies under our belts?
I could not disagree with you any more on this. To me, a club should represent something beyond the football. I don't stand to benefit from the club's success financially, the enjoyment I get from my team is based on the understanding that they mean something important to me, that they represent something that matters, that I can be proud of. If the players, and by extension the club, don't hold any values that I care about, then what is the point in me supporting them?
I think that might be the single worst post I've ever seen on SpursCommunity, which I suppose is an achievement of sorts.
