signing vid MUST include him laughing at the gooners
We always tease the signing about 5 mins before official announcement, the 5 minute before video can’t be anything other than bissouma laughing at emirates

Woman here - don't know if that lends any different perspective on this.

Any person that abuses another is absolutely repugnant, I've seen the long-term impact of these things on friends and it is truly shocking. That said, as deficient as our legal system is, in relation to this with so few actual convictions, we have to assume innocence until proven guilty and assume our club has done DD plus i'm sure in the future he will need to do his best to avoid this type of situation occurring.

As a footballer he is superb. As a man/person I have no idea but this will have been considered I am sure as I believe we read that Conte was keep to review the 'character' of players before we sign.

I may not be 'whooping' as there is a slight reservation but like someone else said there are some shameless people out that accuse for no reason or are mistaken in their identification, so we need to keep calm heads.
I think it is extremely important to hear things from a woman's perspective so thank you for your post (y)

Sarr will go on loan and Winks will be used in an Everton deal would be my guess.
Personally, being in the Champions League I think we need 5 CMs, unless Conte believes Eriksen could operate in a two. So between Sarr and Winks it's probably no contest.

Lets hope they keep the African Nations Cup dates as scheduled to June 2023, think they normally have it in January but got moved probably because of WC.
Mali top their group so should qualify we don't need any more interruptions this season and to lose a player.

P.S It seems that AFCON did switch a few seasons ago from winter to a summer tournament but in some parts of Africa weather can cause a problem in mid-summer so depending where tournament is held could be open to change

As a player this is the one I wanted. He was excellent against us this season and really showed at times we were lacking a bit of physicality in midfield. Bissouma, Hojbjerg, Skipp and Bentacur is a really good set of options for midfield.

I have to hope his legal issues will come to nothing and the club have done their due diligence.

I like this Sir Alex Ferguson approach of signing all the best players outside the top 6. Bissouma, Eriksen, Richarlison... It worked for United.

educate me, who did United sign that was a successful signing? Not trying to be a smart arse, I'm just struggling to understand who from outside top6 as I cannot think of any.

You have to ask the question though: is Bissouma + Bentancur/PEH/Eriksen, really better than Winks and Sissoko?

Nah, this is not it.

Being concerned that a player your club is signing has been involved in a disgusting act against a woman is hardly a 'moral high ground' FFS.
He's innocent until proven guilty. That's how the justice system works. Casting your own judgement on someone who's not proven guilty does not make you morally superior.

I think a more accurate description would be 'best players from teams below them'. Outside of the top 6 there's the likes of Rooney, Ferdinand, Tevez, Saha, Van Der Saar, but if you include us and Arsenal then there's also Berbatov, Carrick, Van Persie, etc.

Who has condemned him? I'm not locking him up and throwing away the key, I'm saying we shouldn't sign him until the police have decided one way or the other whether or not he has a case to answer.

I'm sure the club have carried out due dilligence regarding this, to think that some people would think that the club would be so dumb as to carry out a £25m transaction without this being the case is somewhat perplexing.

You can't think of any good signings from SAF throughout his entire reign?
