Why do people always go on about a '5 year project'? It doesn't have to take years when we have Kane, Son, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, LoCelso, Reguillon etc.. We need to make a handful of very good signings and we could be right up in the mix almost straight away. Get rid of Mourinho and get Nagelsmann in see what he can do with our squad.

Because when you get in a manager who has never won anything - especially when you've just fired the most successful manager in the history of modern football - a project is what is being sold to the players and the fans.

That's how it will be seen and rightly so.

Love Kane but I’ve thought the need to keep one player has always been over hyped. Bale moved on we got better, same with berba granted it took us a year or two to adjust but we need our unity back more than one player.

Amazing that its Hinted that Kane is the reason for lack of unity . I bet Jose is having a laugh at that kind of statement it is almost as tho Jose has been sent in by Arsenal bosses to cause lack of unity among our players and our fans and I must say he is being pretty successful.

Kane stays regardless. Can't see who will (or can) pay £175m for him, and he might not actually want to go. I know that fans seem to conflate football players into one homogeneous entity where one size fits all, but different players want different things. Not every player wants team honours above all else. Breaking Shearers record might be top of his list. Breaking Greaves record might be. Being a one club legend might be.
I agree he stays this summer, for exactly the reasons you state. But, if he’s not happy, summer 22 I can see him leaving. If he becomes disgruntled he will push to move and even tho we might force him to stay, it won’t be beneficial to ether party. Personally I believe Kane is looking for a reason to be convinced he should stay but we keep not giving it to him. Ether way Sons situation is more concerning currently.

The fucking options on the poll

How about...

Keep the in-house brewery and Kane?

The in-house brewery stays and Kane goes?

Or even

Keep Kane?

Kane goes?

I have no fucking idea what’s going on anymore #thereusedtobeafootballcluboverthere

Time for the next hypothetical, Let's say Kane is sold for 150 mill and it's done, no fucking ooo I wouldn't sell him, we've already got the cash in our account; who would you want to spend the money on?

For me I'd go Grealish, Ings and Daka.

Edit: I know we need to spend money on our defence but for this hypothetical I'm talking about how would you try and replace Kane's numbers

Patson Daka is an absolute machine. RBL would be insane not to use their association with RBS to get him. Wrong thread but idc

Too torn to vote on that but the fact that it’s 50/50 right now says it all.

Don’t think Kane leaves for another session regardless BUT gun to head I think it comes down to... can Mourinho do more with Kane in the side than another manager could do with the proceeds of a Kane sale to rebuild? Just don’t know the answer to that.

Not on the table. That's the point of the poll. It's a hypothetical scenario but an interesting one
About as interesting as "Chelsey loves Jason but Jason loves Briony and Steve but what should I tell her"

Where are the facts from the OP

Briony told me the facts actually which instigated this thread but I believe the real source is Jason

No player would ever be consulted about the choice of coach.
We may be shambolic on the field at times but Levy is too smart to go down that route.
