I'm more happy to see him taking on and beating men again having looked very hesitant to try anything at times last season

He reminds me a bit of Sessegnon prior to his loan… you can see the quality is there but they both choke at the pivotal moment. If they can both learn to express themselves a bit more they can both make the step up to the required standard.

Why is any unflattering opinion of Harry Winks immediately branded as “hate” on here? Weird.
Because you and the likes call him a massive prick and what not. I get it he's not at our level footballing wise. But its no reason to attack his character as a person.

I don't get why our academy boys gets so much vitriol.

Any idea why Reggie, Ndombele and Sess aren’t involved? All been in pre-season training

Skipp has become a much better player there, it was the perfect move for him last summer.
He looks like he's filled out a bit and is so much more assertive and confident on the pitch. Looks like a proper player rather than an academy kid now.

Was amazed how much Rose improved at Sunderland. Came back a completely different player. Top class at the highest level. Hopefully Skipp reaches the same heights and can do it for a longer period…

We've been told that he hates Kane but I've seen plenty of photos with them together that shows everything is fine. Including this one.

Somethings were said on here about him which may not even be true yet we are getting a large part of the fanbase to hate him based on this, which is hugely unfair.

Have you ever been told that someone was a prick before only to get to know them and realise it was just a dumb rumour made up by someone who doesn't even know them or their story.

I think it's damaging and is completely unproductive to hate on players because someone said something on the internet.

Indeed, the hate and the abuse Winks gets from our fanbase is baffling, people all to willing to believe what they want to believe because he's an easy scapegoat.

He's not good enough for this club and probably needs to leave but I always feel sad when people have a go at him and target him, a lot of it is unwarranted.

The right loan move can really be the making of some young players.

I just can't see Dier getting back his mojo. His confidence is shot to beyond pieces.
I think his biggest issue is finding a place in the team/system.

In his peak he was able to play freely off Kane and Sonny with Eriksen doing a lot of the running/creating. Then you had a very very solid base behind him. Combine that with the pressing system we had, it gave him the space and opportunities to do his thing.

I don't see us going back to that and with Harry dropping deeper now and a lack of a creative attacking midfielder I think it becomes harder for him to own a place.
