I hope Wigan stay up because I love Roberto Martinez and how hell bent he is on playing good football even though he doesn't have the players or the resources to do it. I also love how determined they seem. They've been playing good football for a while now without picking up the points. They go two down to West Ham and still manages to get back.

Wigan is punching so far above their weight that it's almost a bit silly.

I also appreciate how the chairman actually trusts the manager, even when results don't go their way.

I want Wigan to stay up for exactly the same reasons as this, also want Bpool to stay up. Think they also play really nice football and Holloway cracks me up. Would much rather watch/listen to his interviews than Mick Mcarthy's any day.

Can't stand Wolves/Bburn/Brum so want any of them 3 to go down.

Wigan and Blackburn to go down.

I like Samba and N'zogbia a lot, the latter is the most underrated player I've ever seen.

I still think our defence is top 5-6 quality. With King it's title winning defence. But without him I feel it's kinda shaky, and goals will leak.

With Samba our defence would shore up pretty well, I think we'd be water-tight.

N'Zogbia just a bargain buy TBH, I think he'll be better than Peinaar and may even be better than Krancjar.

Yep, I would take N'zogbia all day long, a far more finacially attractive buy than Young with similar levels of ability...although Young has only one more year on his contract I think there could be a bidding situation for him.

Young might have the better attitude though, but perhaps Zog would settle down and work harder at a more ambitious Club.

I hope Wigan and Blackpool stay up because they try to play football and I like both managers philosophy, even if it's a bit naive at times. Their games are so rarely dull.

Blackburn, Wolves and Birmingham I couldn't give a fuck if they disappear from the prem, you just wouldn't chose to watch them unless they were playing spurs would you ?

Out of all the teams I want Blackburn and Birmingham to go down.

However, Birmingham do have a nice habit of starting the rot for Arsenal in early Spring most years.

Agree with BC. Both have likeable young managers with the right ideas about how the game should be played, it would be nice to see good football rewarded. Any two of Wolves, Birmingham and Blackburn to go down would be fine by me, especially the latter two purely because I have a slight soft spot for Wolves as a club just because of their slight entwinement with our own history.

We'll just wait and see. TBH, I'm not worried about midfield area, if we do get new midfielders, fine, more the merrier - hopefully better as well.

Striker is a must, but I wonder what Harry will bring in. He like physically strong players, like most his buys, Modric won't even be on his radar if he was available to him for £10mil (obviously before Modric moved to the PL).

He'd probably end up getting some hench french player or Hulk please.

Player wise Wigan probably have the best. I'd not say no to NZogbia when we lose Kranjcar, nor would I sniff at Rodallega as one of two striker signings. But I could live without either and I like both Martinez and Whelan so I have no wish to see them relegated.

Wolves going down could facilitate a move for one of Doyle or Fletcher, either of whom (but not both) I'd welcome as one of two striker signings as both are very good, hard working, skillful forwards who can hold the ball up, and both would be more prolific in a team such as ours.

Goes without saying the forward department is the most pressing.

I was just speculating about picking players from the potentially relegated sides.

Allardyce is a choice tit. Can't stand the bloke. He comes across arrogant as fuck and he has no reason to be.

A retard, for sure. Can't understand why Fergie is so pally with him. Mind you, the extent to which he gets under Wenger's skin is rather amusing!

I hope Birmingham and Blackburn go down simply because they are both so incredibly dull to watch.

Brum haven't scored more than 2 goals in any premiership match all season and Blackburn haven't scored more than 3.

In addition Brum haven't beaten any of the top 4 sides this season or last and Blackburn have a solitary win against a top 4 side in the last 3 seasons.

Our record in that area this season hasn't been all that good though, has it?

Anyone but Birmingham, I live and work in birmingham, my fiancee is birmingham season ticket holder, so is her dad. I cannot see a situation where we are both happy by the end on the weekend.

I want Blackpool to stay up because of Holloway. I don't mind who it's at the expense of.

Blackpool have scored more goals than us this season.. and their games have been really exciting.

Step forward ... DJ Campbell.
