Man CIty's owners are members of the Emirati royal family and members of the government (Al-Nahyan is the Deputy Prime Minister). Below is a report from Human Rights Watch of what they get up to in their country.

All of those who are siting on high moral chair are dirty. Everyone has the fair share. Don't be selective and start from your own and ask for human rights of those people bombed in many countries.

Well, as I said, I have been a political campaigner in the past and I've written letters for Amnesty and other human rights NGOs. By all means disagree with me, but you can't accuse me of not putting my money where my mouth is.

Burnley fans complaining about time wasting with no hint of irony.

Oh dear. Did I prick your conscience?
Nope. but its too boring.
I assume you are from UK. So you have left your country as a protest for its hand in slaughtering 100s of thousands in Iraq and Afghanistan? I am sure you won't support your country in any forum for that matter i.e sports e.t.c

rez9000 The Arbiter of our Feelings.
Oh please! What kind of comment is that? At all points, I've said what my personal feelings are. What's the matter with you! And I would also point out that it was @Gb160 that made the first arbitration comment (sorry GB, not having a pop at you.).

If you disagree, fine. We all have the right to express out opinion. Or are you arbitrating that?

Their fans and the media will be unbearable.
No one will bat an eyelid if City win it, its virtually meaningless.
So for me, yes.
Yes it is.

This. If they win another title or not have no bearing on what goes on in that country.

Probably not. Just that this is the premiership football thread.
And we're talking about who we want to win the title. I want Liverpool to win it (through gritted teeth, I would add, as I said). And I have my reasons. Are my reasons somehow less because people disagree?
