There was a bloke on here a few weeks ago who was saying we could win the league, he was laughed at by many, including myself, I would now like to retract that laughter.

He was totally right.

One game at a time my friend..

A long season to go. The nature of preseason and elongated seasons for teams like Man Utd and Man city was always likely to make this season pretty unpredictable. There have been odd results in most major leagues at this point (Bayern and PSG in particular). The teams who are the most consistent, and able to deal with the number of games will do the best.

I’d still have liked Barkley at Spurs. Think he would have done a great job at adding depth to our squad.

meh, I think he wouldn't have been a bad signing, and in fairness he didn't do terribly at chelsea. But he isn't really a CM, rather I see him as a physical, technically gifted and often frustrating AM who does better when he is allowed to do his shtick. I'm not sure we would have been such a great fit.
