Think some of you are letting your bias show a bit.

They're starting all of their summer signings (so haven't gelled yet), are playing a back 3 (so a different formation and tactical set up to last season).

They've scored two good goals and forest haven't had a sniff since the Johnson miss.

I know it's Arsenal. But there's no point in lying to yourselves.

Unfortunately, they look good.

I don't see anything in this performance that suggests they won't finish top 2 again this season.

No but at the same time such a thing can't be determined after one game. If they lose to Palace the next game all of a sudden the perception changes but the reality is that it's too early to accurately suggest where they may end up finishing, irrespective of whether they win their first few games or not.

They have improved their squad from last season. In which they were very good and came close to winning the league.

Logically then, they are going to be a cut above us again and challenging at the very top of the table.

That’s not a wild prediction to make.

Are people really tipping Arsenal for the title on the basis of one half against fucking Forest?

Good grief.

I'm not saying it can't be predicted and I wouldn't begrudge anyone who does as such. I just mean winning at home to Forest in what is only the first game of the season isn't something I'd use to enforce that thought.

Some people will never learn.
Could understand if this was ten games in and they’d blown everyone aside. But it’s half a game of football against one of the leagues poorer teams.

Arsenal will be up challenging in the top four for sure. But to proclaim anything else is just doom mongering imo.

Sorry bout that I’ll remove.
No worries at all mate, and like I said if you wanted to call me a **** for that I would also completely understand lol. We’ve been thru a lot with Kane going.

I myself have been pretty quick to fly off the handle these past two days. Just yelled at my cat as I almost stepped on him and dropped a plate of food. Feel like I’m losing it a bit tbh

Apart from the fact it's only been 45 mins, you have no idea how Liverpool, United etc will perform this season. You don't know how Arse will handle juggling CL and PL for the first time in years. You don't know how they'll fare with injuries.

There's nothing to suggest they'll finish top 2 this season.
