Appreciate Newcastle have a high number of injuries (Pope now too) but listening to the names of those injured, can’t help but feel it’s mostly their subs.
Both us and United I feel are actually worse affected by injuries as they are to key first team players.

AR can't really tell from his angle if the ball hit Maguire. They communicated with each other and made the right call.

But even if it doesn't hit Maguire surely his position and movement at the time of the shot means it has to be given as offside regardless?

Definitely more about United since they took off Rashford and Martial, Hojland much more of a centre forward.
Have to say without Maguire Newcastle would have been out of sight.

I know he had a lot more suitors after his world cup display, but amarabat since coming on was absolutely woeful. Even simple passes with no pressure he was hitting behind ongoing players.

Yeah he’s been a bit crap since going to United. A lot of us initially didn’t want him when first linked then saw him in the WC and thought we missed out. Now most probably think we dodged a bullet.
