Appreciate Newcastle have a high number of injuries (Pope now too) but listening to the names of those injured, can’t help but feel it’s mostly their subs.
Both us and United I feel are actually worse affected by injuries as they are to key first team players.
Botman, Burn, Tonali are nailed on starters. Barnes & Wilson get plenty of minutes. Willock & Longstaff important squad members.

I think they’re worse off than United in terms of important players & overall numbers missing. But agree our current situation is worse given how small our squad is & quality of players missing.

Newcastle have done brilliantly recently, considering their injuries.
They really have indeed fair play to them although they might start to run out of gas soon as that same exact 11 has played 3 intense 90+ mins matches in about 9 days I think, they’ll be shattered with the games coming thick and fast in December and will have to rotate eventually or they’ll get some injuries.

Gordon looked to be limping too.

Nick pope with a dislocated shoulder.

Can guarantee Dúbravka will have the game of his life next week at ours.

Well that was a very one-sided 1-0 win.

Amazing stat which I didn’t appreciate - ALL of United’s points have been gained against bottom half teams this season…..!
Yeah and almost all of those games they scraped by by 1 goal.

I am seeing very little, if any progress, and the football is incredibly boring.

They only caught up to us due to injuries and their easy run.

I firmly believe that by the end of the season, granted we get players back, we will finish comfortably above them.

They have lost to every decent side theyve played.

I don't even think you can blame injuries as even teams with injuries show an identity, they just come up short.

Take us for one example. But also Brighton, they had a few injuries but you can still see an identity.

United are a mess and to be counting on Rashford, Martial, Antony and Sancho means you are in big trouble.

Rashford feels like such an incredibly overrated player.
He's become such an obvious player.
He's just going to try to take everyone on and hammer a shot at goal and if that doesn't work, he offers little else.
It really feels like he's been found out this season because he rarely manages to get past anyone.

Newcastle played really well in that game and the scoreline didn't reflect the dominance they had all over the pitch.
It wouldn't be unfair to say that they played Man U off the park and it was an enjoyable performance to watch.
I don't like Howe but he's doing a cracking job there.

I was worried that Man U were going to fluke something out of the game that they really didn't deserve towards the end.

They’ve hardly had any first team players injured though, it was all their subs. Burn and botman perhaps. Wilson is always injured. It isn’t exactly lots compared to us or Man Utd or even Chelsea at points this season.

Gallagher off.
He's a twat. The way he tackles he should have gotten two yellow already. What makes him think he can play that way. Always fucking reckless. Serves him right. Hope Rodri has no such immunity later.

Who is the commentator for the Liverpool?

It seems like I have heard her before, but I think she is doing a pretty good job today.
