Post update

Bournemouth 1-1 Luton
BBC commentator Chris Wise has just reported that they have been told Tom Lockyer is "alert and responsive" in the tunnel.
That is positive news from the Vitality Stadium.

If that's the same thing for Lockyer, probably have to give up football now won't he? You can't collapse twice on the field within 6 months and continue to play surely?

Play abandoned at Bournemouth

Bournemouth 1-1 Luton
Understandably, referee Simon Hooper has taken the decision to abandon the game at the Vitality Stadium following a collapse by Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer near the centre circle.
The clock was stopped in the 65th minute and players were sent down the tunnel.
Lockyer was given medical attention and treatment on the pitch before being taken off on a stretcher to a round of applause from fans.
He was said to be "alert and responsive in the tunnel".
The game was 1-1 when it ended.

Guardian said he went down at halftime two weeks ago. He has to call it quits I would think.

Its probably up to him. I understand that some things can be hard to give up, especially if you have nothing to fall back on (like an education). But football is not worth more than a human life.

Not sure it will be up to him. It must get to the stage where Luton’s doctors won’t clear him to play and I can’t imagine any other club wanting to offer a contract to him under these circumstances. Certainly not on big enough wages to make it worth his while.

First time I’ve watched soccer Saturday in ages but my god Clinton Morrison is an absolute horrific pundit.

I think we'll finish top four mate.
I fancy it of we can keep key players fit and other teams start to have more injuries in key areas.

So far Liverpool, Villa and Arsenal are not having too many but may do when they go back to Europe
